  1. Oy vey. I don’t think this is going to end well. Once the Vatican gets ahold of the case it could drag out for a couple of years. Personally instead of giving the 700K to canon lawyers I would put the money towards securing a tribulation refuge for his flock. Sounds like it may be another Vigano situation.

  2. There’s nothing legal the Vatican can do for or against Fr. Altman. All or almost all of them were invalidly appointed by an antipope. He should demand an audience with Benedict the True Pope to resolve the situation.
