It would be interesting to hear the nun’s account and compare it to this Franciscan University of Steubenville woman’s account of her own experience of a captivity of another kind at FUS.
I stumbled onto this story while looking into the story of embezzlement in that same diocese, which it seems may be joined to the diocese of Columbus, Ohio. It would be clarifying, i suspect, to see all the episcopal connections and maneuvering at play. I doubt, however, it would be encouraging.

Here is the heart wrenching testimony of the victim. Read it and weap: tears of sorrow at what she has to endure, tears of appreciation for her courage; and after your tears have subsided, never forget the structure of evil she details. And then maybe consider all of the known and unknown” cause celebraires” definitely and potentially reasonably connected in these stories. Suredly, this is the “filth” i believe BXVI may have mentioned.
