Feb. 2, 2023: Pope Francis says Petrine Ministry is for life

Editor’s Note: While before January 30, 2023, he toyed with the idea of resignation, immediately afterwards he affirmed the common sentence of all Catholic theologians: that the man who is the Pope ought to exercise the Petrine Ministry for as long as he lives, that is, as long as he holds the Petrine Munus. — Imagine that! It as if, he knows what it is by personal experience.

  1. It is amazing to see the Holy Ghost in action. One has read how Popes that were basically heretics were changed or could not act on their own ideas. There is an invisible fence preventing them from declaring error. I never imagined that I was going to see that in my own life.

This is a subtle testimony by God Himself and a warning. Because the enemy tried to infiltrate the Church and destroy it from within and now the main agent for that plan has been ‘infiltrated’ by the Holy Spirit. Prepare for great things to happen because this is the beginning of a great war campaign that will wipe out evil in the Church.

We will be witnesses to great positive events. Glory to God!

    1. Well said. There are a ton of people who don’t recognize that Bergoglio was constantly speaking heresy, and so they cannot see the change that has occurred since his valid election. It’s a real pity for them.

      1. For them, ignorance is bliss–
For others who knew what the reality was with Benedict suffering in an impeded see, and a usurper on the Chair of St Peter–they lay awake in the dark staring at the ceiling urgently praying for the church and the Papacy.

We’re getting more sleep now, since 30 January. . .

    1. Yes, that is the theological implication. But more specifically, he is saying that he will exercise the ministry until death, because that is the way it should be. So he is more directly criticizing Benedict for resigning the ministry.

    2. This was my thought as well.

I’ve never understood how any pope could “just stop being” the Vicar of Christ. Under ANY circumstances.
