Editor’s Note: It now seems that the top members of Putin’s government have fled the Capital. This can only mean that the elite troops guarding it cannot be trusted and that Prigozhin has strong backing. The occupation of the Ministry of Defense last night seems to indicate that this is a Military Coup d’etat against Putin from the upper levels of that echelon.
UPDATES: In about 4 hours, the rebels should reach the peripheries of Moscow. It will be then that we will know immediately the fate of Putin and his govt., because if the fighting is only light or non-existent, then the rebels have at least the neutrality of the forces in the city to allow their entrance, and that means that Putin is a goner.
