   1. Not that I know of, though Sutton might have cited it in a footnote in his books.

      However, the websites of most of the important Masonic Lodges usually speak about how they were founded. Then, their histories may be on wikipedia or in other databases.

2. Hmm, I wonder if Patrick Coffin is of the elite family referenced? The entire political and religious scene is overburdened by living contradictions. An example: Jacob Rees-Mogg, sitting MP, Rothschild banker and (reputed) Traditional Catholic. I’ve heard the name in reference to an incoming ICKSP seminarian.
