Indeed. Since most people are so little educated in church matters, they liken the Pope to a boss whosw whims are very particular. There is not recognition of the work of the Holy Spirit or Jesus’s prayer for the pope or promises of his Church.
If there is one positive thing that will come out of all this mess, is that God will show everyone that the Catholic Church is his one true church.
