Editor’s Note: Pope Francis, before becoming a Bishop in Argentina, was a Jesuit, that is a religious. This dicastery does not exist, seeing that no one with the Petrine Munus established it. But it is psychologically revealing that Pope Francis has appointed as its head not only a woman, but a woman with no degrees in Canon Law or Theology of the Consecrated Life, but has rather appointed someone trained in Psychology: this is a way of saying that he thinks all consecrated persons in the Church have psychological problems, even himself.
