The synod (on sin and sodomy — to quote Father Altman) antics sound like the duping delight of the satanists/luciferians in charge of the Vatican — they are pushing their anti-Christ madness and seeing how many of the weak, naive and cowardly sheep and shepherds go along with their evil. The boiling frog analogy is on point — they started slowly turning up the heat in the mid 1950s and we are near to the boiling point.
