Editor’s Note: The United States Bishop’ conference has no authority to outlaw the use of any word in human speech, let alone by Catholics, not even on Catholic properties. The document, “Translate Hate: the Catholic Edition” ironically promotes hatred of Christians and the Catholic Faith by “outlawing” words used in the Bible or Christian Tradition itself, by the Fathers of the Church and various Saints and Doctors of the Church. This is heresy and apostasy!

The publication of this document is also so entirely out of touch with current events, which have seen the modern state of “Israel” genocide more than 40000 men women and children in Gaza! Some of whom are Catholics! — In the document itself, ironically, it claims that it is “antisemitic” to claim that Jews are controlling the Mass Media, silencing their critics or preventing a free discussion. But publishing this document now seems to confirm all three things.

Note: Strangely enough, the document does not ban the phrase from the TLM, “Perfideus Iudaeus” nor the English equivalent, “The perfidious Jew”. Nor does it ban any of the Yiddish words used to insult both Jews or non-Jews.

But it does urge Catholics not to use any term to denigrate Jews as subhuman or genetically distorted, even while Jews continue to call non-Jews the “Goyim”, a term which etymologically means “monsters”.
