Editor’s Note: Mrs. Uriate-Tan a former employee of the Bank of the Philippines Investment Trust, controlled by the Ayala Dynasty (which has supported liberal causes for more than 125 years) was appointed to the Board of Supervision for the Institute for Religious Works. Since it is known that the Vatican bank takes deposits and investments from private persons, it is presumed that this appointment has something to do with staving off the bankruptcy of the Vatican by seeking help from one of the three richest families in the Philippines Islands.
