If this is the attitude in regard to finances, how much more can we project that it is also the attitude to the Pope’s health?

In other words, when things are dire, say nothing or put a rosy face on it.

And if this interpretation is true, Pope Francis is not getting better, he is deteriorating and soon the press release will read:

Pope Francis slept well, and is now resting in the Lord.

In addition, from the above report, it appears that Pope Francis’ heated argument with his closest financial advisers in the Roman Curia led him to have his breathing crisis. They want the Vatican to take loans to stave off bankruptcy, but Pope Francis would not have it.

And this leads to another possible psychological motive for the hospitalization and its strange press releases: that Pope Francis is trying to rebuild his moral authority through suscitating an outpouring of sympathy for a sick old man, so that when he returns to the Vatican, he can push through his measures and remove obstacles (like all those who gloated over his pending death).
