Editor’s Note: Vatican News has returned this Evening to saying that the Pope’s condition is stable, a thing they have omitted for several days now. What is concerning is that he is not showing elevated White Blood Cell counts, a thing indicative of a weak or non-existent immune system response. Indeed, since he has been given cortisone, and is suffering a polymicrobic infection of the lungs — of which the Vatican Press Release rarely talks, now-a-days, a higher level would be a good natural sign. His medical team remains very concerned that he is still in a critical condition after 14 days, since they clearly have him on a 24hour spasm attack watch. If they cannot cure the reason for these spasms, Pope Francis will have to remain in hospital the rest of his life, because so violent are they, that outside of a hospital situation he could choke to death. Indeed, saying “no new respiratory attacks” means that his Doctors know he is likely to keep having them. Pope Francis suffered two major attacks during his hospitalization, one on the second Saturday of his visit and one on the third Friday, about 6 days later. This is very concerning. — And, after 15 nights, still no photographs of the Pope in hospital have been shown.
