Editor’s Note: The only news worthy item in today’s Press Release this morning is that the Pope’s condition “appears to be stable”, in the context of a complex medical situation. They still have not said what that is, however. But it is noteworthy that they are no longer saying emphatically that his condition is stable. And that implies they know he is not only not improving, but not making any lasting improvement. It also means that whatever are the results of his blood, urine, and other tests, his doctors no longer see improvement or no longer consider them to regard what are his critical issues.
