Vatican News reverses, replies directly to Doubts of FromRome.info

Reply by Br. Alexis Bugnolo, Editor

It is not frequently that an independent journalist like myself causes a huge institution to respond to an article published. But it happened tonight, just 35 minutes ago, when in the English Version only of the Vatican News site, the above article was published, replying directly to the questions I raised yesterday about the apparently faked AI image of Pope Francis with a withered hand, missing 2 fingers.

No other news organization in the world raised such doubts. The article published by FromRome. Info yesterday evening, was visited at least once by someone from the Vatican today and by several users in the City of Rome.

As you can see from the above, Vatican News is claiming that the hand was “swollen” due to lack of mobility. But that it is now back to normal, due to motor therapy.

Yet, that does not explain why within minutes of the publishing of the Article here at FromRome.Info, the full photo which had been released to the 770+ accredited journalists was republished by Vatican News yesterday with a cut-off of the lower part of the image showing the strange shaped hand.

FromRome.Info, for its accuracy in reporting is now being visited by an employee of Microsoft, evidently to check on whether we publish “fake news”, i. e. true news.

For the record, the problems with the photograph are not limited to the hand: they include the tan on Pope Francis, the lack of breathing apparatus, the bizarre angle, the unnatural folding in the alb, which strangely covers the entire wheel chair like no alb ever does, his lack of a zuchetto showing he is the pope, and the strange shape of his head, so different from that seen when he entered hospital.

Obviously, any sort of medical explanation can be the cause or invented to cover for the problems with the image. But FromRome.Info has scored a major journalistic coup in getting Vatican News to publish a rebuttal in English to counter our report, which doubted and questioned. That is the purpose of true journalism.

However, no matter how much a hand might be reduced in its swelling, it’s not going to recover two missing fingers or return to looking human from what formerly appears to be an aquatic appendage (see the previous report). — As for mobility therapy causing it to return to normal shape, I will leave the Registered Nurses and Doctors who read FromRome.Info to comment below as to the credibility of such a claim.

  1. I am an RN but you don’t need a healthcare degree to call BS on the Vatican News Site article. It reads like a second grader telling his teacher the dog ate his homework.

  2. The man is dead. He may be replaced by a permanent synodal congress of sorts. There will be no successor.

They are delaying until the 12th anniversary if his ascension to the papacy.

  3. I am trying to fold my first three fingers under the palm of my right hand, while sitting, and not suffering from any health problems, and having played the saxophone, so that I am much more dexterous than most, I still cannot do it, like the image shows. Anyhow, what do you mean by the first 3 fingers, because in the United States that does not include the thumb.

Indeed, from a collection of swollen hands, available on google.com

I can scarcely imagine anyone with so swollen a hand that he can fold his fingers under his palm.

  4. AI image agents, as impressive as they are, frequently and rather bizarrely, get the hands wrong. Why this is so is worthy of consideration. Accomplished painters and portrait artists will tell you that it isn’t faces that are the most challenging to paint; its the hands. There is something theologically significant about the human hand, whether these trans humanists know it or not (and judging from the name choice of the latest Chinese AI agent to make waves (Manus), they know it. AI doesn’t grasp (ha) hands because AI doesn’t have hands. Mens et manus — man is created in the image of God and true beauty in art must reflect the presence of Christ; the deformed hands AI frequently produced alludes to the presence of Satan. Nice try, AI but“Still Life with Wheelchair” is no masterpiece.

    1. Reminds me of something I heard about the feet, satan can’t replicate the feet or something to that extent and that’s how you know an apparition is not from God? Don’t know if that’s true but I think I heard Malachi Martin say it once.

      1. Yes, when God allows him to appear, God never allows him to perfectly replicate the feet, so that every soul has the means to know that it is a devil and not an Angel of God, who can always replicate feet, as in the book of Tobias.

  5. Yes that’s why Malachi was skeptical of Medugorja because in the apparition you couldn’t see Our Lady’s feet.

    1. That is why we can be sure it was not our Lady. Though I heard that the first apparition did show the feet, and that perhaps the first few were true apparitions, but the desire to be famous led most of the children to entertain false apparitions since then.
