Editor’s Note: Pope Francis in his 12 year long reign of scandal, has succeeded in the final months of his life, apparently, in destroying totally the credibility of one of the last Vatican institutions left standing: Vatican News, whose month long deception of the entire world regarding the reason for Pope Francis being in hospital, has now been exposed in the bright day-light of truth, from the lips of one of his closest collaborators.

To put it in not too polite a phraseology: Pope Francis is a drug-abuser and cortisone-addict. And his medical staff at the Vatican trafficked the drug to him in unhealthy doses leading to his near death on several occasions in February. And this is what he is recovering from in hospital. Every other condition is secondary.

As for the authorship of the daily press releases regarding Pope Francis’ health, it now seems highly probable that they are written by someone who has never seen Pope Francis in hospital, from dictates given by someone like Cardinal Parolin, about what he wants everyone to believe the state of health of the Pope to be. And that is why the fake photo released Sunday did not correspond to previous press releases just as it did not seem to be a photograph of a real man in a wheel chair wearing an alb.

Vatican News is now saying that Pope Francis is so well, medical updates won’t be given to next week. They have been lying so much, they forgot that last week they claimed that the prognosis was released, but no prognosis has yet been given, except to say that it is not clear if Pope Francis will be able to preside over Holy Week services. — Why it is not even clear he will ever again be able to live outside of hospital conditions.

For journalists like myself, we will understand the refusal of the Vatican to correct the record as full admission that they were lying all along, and that the daily releases mean nothing, because they are cooked up out of thin air.
