The Catholic Faithful are best served by journalists who are independent and willing to tell the truth no matter what. Yet voices of this kind are very rare. Indeed, as FromRome.Info and Ordo Militaris Radio & TV have pointed out over the last 4 years or more, a good number of “Catholic” media sites run by laymen show all the characteristics of being Freemasons, Political Operatives, and CIA projects to control the narrative by pretending to be in the opposition.
Just one new alliance was launched, apparently in February:
They include the “former” CIA Agent, Steve O’Reilley, who publishes the notorious disinformation blog, with the presumptuous name, Roma Locuta Est — a blogger who I have had to frequently expose as one of the most blatant liars on the net and as one who uses every false argument, and ad hominem, to attempt to convince. They also include Edward Pentin, who lied about Pope Benedict XVI’s Declaratio for years and when caught in his lies, published no retractions. The members’ list is as follows:
But this alliance also includes another magic circle of bloggers, known as “The Little Vatican Apostolate”, which appears to be a group which wants to tell Catholics what to believe:
This latter group includes the following websites:
- The American Catholic
- BigPulpit
- CatholicStand
- Ignitum Today
The Little Vatican Apostolate seems to be lead by Tito Edwards, who as the author of the “Best in Catholic Blogging” at the National Catholic Register, has been controlling the narrative for more than 12 years.
Maybe I am a bit prejudiced, but when I see any alliance of Catholic writers which includes a CIA agent and journalists notorious for denying the truth about Pope Benedict XVI’s Declaratio, I lose all confidence that they have anything to do with “independent” and “opposition” journalism.

Yes, I have been thinking of it as “Political Catholicism.” It’s not too difficult to detect, imho, but the ongoing and seemingly intense political exploitation of the Church still creeps me out. Wheat and tares.
