Editor’s Note: As a member of Ordo Militaris Catholicus, an international Catholic initiative to help prevent terrorism against Catholics, I have personally written two or three bishops in Nigeria asking what we could do to help them in their plight with terrorism. Unfortunately, the Bishops were told by the Apostolic Nuncio, acting on orders of Bergoglio, not to take any initiatives.
The State, there, is doing precious little; and the Church does not want to do anything!
The solution is private initiative, therefore; which is why I constantly call on Catholics to help on this issue. If we do not act, we can scarcely blame others for not acting. And though it is SO easy to lament the Catholic victims of terrorism; it is ONLY heroic, when you do something to stop it. That is what our Order is all about.
