I was speaking to a French woman yesterday who told me she thought this is the most recent take down of socially conservative politicians. In 2014 it was Dominique Straus Kahn, 2016 it was François Fillon, and now Marine le Pen.
I tend to think this is part of the masonic political theatre; to get conservatives angry and so harness the reaction and push it to over react.
Correction : François ran in the 2017 election and was formally charged in an embezzlement investigation in a case that became known as “Penelopegate” due to the involvement of his wife.
More proof [if any were needed…] that there is no true democracy left anywhere in Europe……and certainly not in the USA!
