A sobering reminder to work for the Kingdom of God. Sodom is not included in God’s Kingdom.
He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters. Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. (Matthew 12:30-31)
Indeed – and verse 32 is equally damning:-
“And, whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come.”
And, for those who may not be aware of the Sins against the Holy Ghost:-
Presumption upon GOD’s mercy;
Despair;
Impugning the known truth;
Envy of another’s spiritual good;
Obstinancy in sin;
Final impenitence.
