Phenomenal documentary. When I was an adolescent I watched all 25 episodes of World at War, and rewatched them again with my son a few years ago. I very surprised that only one episode had been dedicated to the leadup to WWII. It is fine knowing about the battles but the most important part is knowing about what lead to the war.
In my youth I also watched all the episodes of World at War, it was a great series.
