Trump is attempting break Italy off from the EU. In light of the problems EU membership has been causing Italy this would be a benefit to them. As much as you don’t like it, it appears that Trump is attempting to end US participation in European wars, something that Wilson shouldn’t have started in 1917.
Italy is no where near leaving the EU. I think Meloni is just trying to soften Trump up. Trump did not look very impressed by the statement “Make the West great again”, because he is not interested in the West. He is interested in looking like he wants to make America great again.
Hmmm……whilst the Editor’s note is optimistic I do wonder how much can we trust Meloni – is she or is she not just another globalist puppet and is this just more ‘political theatre’ as, for sure, we cannot trust Trump who appears to be giving a ‘compassionate-listening-ear’ to another political leader who just happens to be an attractive, younger woman……
