Pope Francis defended due process for Rupnik, but not for The Sodalitium?

+ + +

Editor’s Note: Why the difference of approach? Was it because Rupnik was a Jesuit involved in satanic ritual abuse, and the Sodalitium defended public morality?

For those not familiar with The Sodalitium, click the image here below. In the article about the founder, Luis Fernando Figari, HERE, it is reported that after being dismissed he has been living at the Vatican since 2010! While not everything in a Wikipedia article is in its proper context, this would be an amazing fact, that another homosexual clerical abuser was living at the Vatican during the entire “pontificate” of Pope Francis, but was only expelled in 2024. That would be very slow justice! So perhaps the comparison with Rupnik is unjust after all. However, if the Sodalitium after expelling the bad actors had to be suppressed, why was the Legionnaires of Christ not suppressed after its monster of a founder Marcial Maciel died?

  1. There are many other wayward “institutes” waiting in line for their just punishment which God in His mercy is still holding. But their punishment will come and will not delay one minute. Remember Mr. McCarrick.

“Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, ‘With such violence Babylon the great city will be thrown down, and will be found no more.” (Apocalypse of St. John 18:21)

Compare the previous verse with Our Lord’s words:

“Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. So watch yourselves.” (Luke 17:1-3)

Those two verses are not similar by mere chance. The monsters that have infiltrated the Church will find themselves in that very predicament. The millstone necktie is waiting to hang from their abominable, unrepentant necks.

    1. Indeed, St. Hildegard von Bingen, whom Pope Benedict XVI canonized and made a doctor of the Church in 2012, said the city of Rome would be destroyed by fire from heaven for the sin of sodomy. If we are not yet there, the time is certainly closer than ever.
