Two Cardinals Announce that they will not attend the Conclave

By Br. Alexis Bugnolo

The first is Cardinal Vinko Puljić, 79, Archbishop Emeritus of Vrhbosna (Sarajevo), Bosnia & Herzegovina, who is a conservative who spoke out against ‘Fiducia supplicans’. He says his doctors have advised against it. He is a Cardinal Elector. With his refusal, the number of Cardinals who participate in the Conclave is reduced from 135 to 134. Now 90 votes will be required to elect the next Pope (2/3+1 in the case of a number which is not wholly divisible by 3). For more on this, see here.

Next is Cardinal Antonio Cañizares, Archbishop Emeritus of Valencia, Spain. He also has declined to attend the upcoming conclave for health reasons. He too was conservative, being the emeritus Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship under Pope Benedict XVI. More on this here and here.

That reduces the number of Cardinals to 133, and hence the number of votes to be elected to 89.

Now since everyone who is informed, in the Church, knows that it is essential for the Catholic Cardinals to attend the Conclave, so that the Church not be destroyed by a Bergoglian, I am beginning to smell a fish in Denmark, as it were. Because it is unimaginable that a Cardinal not attend for health reasons in the modern rules of the Conclave, which do NOT require they attend in the Sistine Chapel, but only that they remain in the Vatican Territory. And there is certainly space at Santa Marta.

So I wonder if the Bergoglian clique has begun to use blackmail in an attempt to reduce the votes of the opposition.

However, as I mentioned before, the Catholic Faction, if it have only 1/3 +1 of all the votes, can indefinitely prevent the election of a heretic. That means they need to muster 45 votes of Cardinals who cannot be blackmailed, cajoled, bribed, threatened or otherwise influenced to compromise.

  1. 133 is a very suggestive number. Indulge me.

    • 33 is the age of Christ crucified
    • 13 is the number of Fatima
    • 1 and 3 for the Holy Trinity (3 persons in 1 God)
    • 133 resolves to 7 (a biblical number)
    • 133 contains (in a way) 13, 33, 1 and 3

I expect some kind of abomination to emerge from this process. Perhaps those absent are being prudent while staying away from God’s bolt of fire. Our Lord must be quite offended by the awful stench raising from Rome these days.

    1. You are interpreting numbers the wrong way, for your interpretation means a blessing not a curse.

33 is a Masonic number representing a third of mankind in league with the fallen angels, who are a third of all angels 33+33=66 and 66 is the number symbolizing the alliance between masons and satan’s legions.
