Editor’s Note: Father Isaac is perhaps my most famous confrere, having been a member of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate with me at their Friary at New Bedford, MA, 1993-1996. He is a true Catholic priest. — There is one historical error in this video, where Fr. Isaac names Pope John Paul II rather than Paul VI about the change in the canonization process. — Father says the best pope we could get would be Cardinal Ranjith of Colombo, Sri Lanka. — This talk was given on April 28, 2025.

Highly recommended to all readers at FromRome.info, Fr Isaac’s excellent, no-holds-barred commentary & advice is worth repeated listenings in order to understand just how much the Church has been deliberately steered from Her traditional ‘moorings’ since Vatican II under the papacies of John XXIII, Paul VI, John-Paul II, Benedict XVI and Bergoglio/Pope Francis.
There is some pleasantly ironic humour as well, the most memorable quip for me was when Fr Isaac referred to JPII as “John-Paul the Great – the great what? apostate??!”
Today, as the Cardinals commence their Conclave proceedings in the Sistine Chapel, is Wednesday of the 3rd week after Easter, on which day the Solemnity of St Joseph was celebrated from the time of Pius X with the highest-ranking classification of Double of the 1st Class with common Octave.
Regrettably this Solemnity was suppressed by Pius XII in 1956 and replaced with St Joseph the Worker on 1st May.
However, let us all be mindful of the pre-1956 Solemnity and pray fervently for St Joseph’s intercession to the Conclave, in the genuine hope that he, together with the Holy Ghost, may try to ensure that the next validly-elected successor of St Peter will be prepared to rebuild & restore the One True Catholic Faith which Bergoglio & his predecessors over the last seven decades have gradually taken apart, replacing it with ecumenism/modernism/protestantism/schism etc etc.
