Editor’s Note: Saint Pius X said that the worst heresy is Modernism, which holds that somethings are true for you and false for me etc.., which is this Cardinal’s vision about invoking the Thrice Holy Name of God to approve of sodomy.

I am publishing this article for historical record, and to warn Catholics not to accept such a man as validly elected to the apostolic see.

To be a formal manifest heretic, it is sufficient to have publicly stated that you are in favor of anything which contradicts Divine Revelation. But the Second Commandment is part of Divine Revelation, and no cleric can be ignorant of the fact that the Divine Name cannot be invoked to approve of any sin whatsoever, let alone that sin which cries out to God for vengeance. Thus all clergy who approve of ‘Fiducia supplicans’ in any way clearly separate themselves from Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. For a cardinal who is a formal and manifest heretic, he still can vote in Conclave; however, in accord with the Bull of Pau IV, his election cannot be considered by anyone as valid, no matter what, not even if all the Cardinals say it is.

Source for Cardinal Prevost’s statments on Fiducia Supplicans

Now that I have time to do a deep search, here is the original article which explains Cardinal Prevost’s position on “Fiducia supplicans”, it is from the Fall of 2024, and shows that Prevost has the exact same position as Pope Francis’ tango-style maneuver (“two-step forward one-step backwards approach”); he approves of it, but does not like the implication that it is obligatory for all, rather he wants that there be an allowance for local variations of implementation. This approach is heresy in se, regarding the false doctrine of blessing public sinners, and heresy by implication, in that he wants a Church not like the one Jesus founded, which teaches the same everywhere, but like the Anglican confession, where every country decides what to believe and do.

Additional heretical  profession, by accepting Amoris Laetitia

It appears that this article, here, is going to become an Enchridion of heresies spouted by Cardinal Prevost. Here is another one: his support for the heretical doctrine of Amoris Laetitia which rejected not only the Apostolic discipline of refusing the sacraments to public sinners, but in which Pope Francis declared that it is wrong to say that God punishes anyone eternally, which is a denial  of the whole order of soteriology (the need for salvation and the remedy God established for redemption):

According to InfoVaticana, as Bishop in Peru, Prevost forbade communion to be received in the mouth from the hands of the priest, which has been the constant practiced of the entire Church from Apostolic Times in all rites. This is tantamount to a rejection of Apostolic Tradition, and thus equipollent to heresy.

Again, during the Scamdemic, he allowed confession via telephone. This is invalid, that is, this means of hearing confession cannot obtain for the one confessing an absolution of his sins recognized by God, since priest and penitent must be in the presence of one another physically. It also risked the violation of the Sacramental seal, which is an excommunicable offense for the priest involved, latae sententiae, and is certainly grounds for an excommunication imposed by a tribunal for a Bishop who authorized it. This confirms that Prevost does not hold to Catholic Doctrine: here is the original report, in the section which states these things:
