The Reactions to the Conclave have unmasked the Grifter Collective

Editor’s Note: In this talk show, AJ explains the reactions various “Traditionalist” websites offered to his comments about Cardinal Prevost, and we discuss what this has to do with traditional Catholic Faith and Morals, and with the right notions of courage, masculinity and fatherhood. It’s a fascinating dive into the psychology of Catholic media influencers, in real time.

  1. Many thanks for another superb show!
Widespread support from many in the ‘grifter collective’ has not been a surprise, but I did’nt expect Rorate Caeli & Christine Niles to “jump onto the bandwagon” so readily……!!
I am particularly keen to hear the reaction of Fr Isaac Mary Relyea with his next talk & commentary – his most recent podcast number 036 was published after Bergoglio’s death and before the Conclave had begun, his summary of Pope Francis was: “A manifest public heretic with not an ounce of Catholicism in him!”

  2. Ann Barnhardt has come out swinging against Prevost calling his election an abject disaster and describing him as a raging leftist and in Cardinal Cupich’s pocket.
Maybe you could commend her as you consider her as part of the grifter collective.

    1. If you say he is the pope, when you said that the documents he supports are heretical, then you are an absolute grifter, because you are being inconsistent, saying that he is pope, since as Pope Paul IV declared, the election of a Cardinal who previous to his elevation to Roman Pontiff was found ever to have expressed himself in favor of heresy or contrary to the Catholic Faith, is null and void.

  3. Could you please explain what actions we can take as faithful Catholics? You rightfully criticize the “grifters”as complaining about what is wrong but doing nothing to change things. I’m elderly and have zero influence with the clergy in my parish, not well connected with many others. Where can I go to get authentic Catholic teaching, liturgy, and action? What can I do?

    1. Stan, my little field of action is limited to this electronic journal. Answering your question is not easy, because you do not say where you are in the world. If you reply with a country and diocese, maybe some readers in your part of the world can give you an answer. I am sure that many of my readers would be eager to do so.
