Editor’s Note: As readers know, Msgr. Gracida is one of the most consistent and courageous Bishops in the Catholic Church, who has never changed his position since February 2013, when he said that Pope Benedict XVI’s abdication was invalid. I visited him two years ago March 22 to 23, 2023, and found him to be the first Bishop of the Catholic Church I ever met who was Catholic. Please join me in praying for him!
Here is my heretofore never published photo of my visit with this Catholic Bishop. And yes, that is his real natural hair color, at the age of 99 years. His secret to longevity is prayer and 4 ounces of tuna fish for breakfast every day of his life. Bishop Gracida was by descent, Spanish & Mexican, if I remember correctly.

Praying for this servant of God and of Holy Mother Church.
Please check out the vitamin c sepsis protocol from Dr. Paul Marik…
I have added Bp Gracida to my daily prayers & Holy Rosary intentions.
There is a rather fine Collect for today’s Holy Mass [1962 liturgical calendar] which venerates St Ubaldus a 12th-century Italian Bishop & Confessor who was blessed with powers over evil spirits:-
‘Auxilium tuum nobis, Domine, quaesumus, placatus impende: et, intercessione beati Ubaldi Confessoris tui atque Pontificis…….etc’;
“Be appeased, Lord, we pray You, and come to our aid, and through the prayers of blessed Ubaldus, Your confessor and bishop, stretch forth in our defence the right hand of Your mercy and save us from all snares of the devil. Through our Lord Jesus Christ Thy Son…….etc.”
As Bp Gracida combats extreme old age & serious illness and, together with us, battles with “all snares of the devil”, let us add this powerful prayer to others that we may be offering & reciting on his behalf.
St Ubaldus, pray for us.
His lineage “was” and is: Mexican dad. Ragin’ Cajun mother.
H. E. Gracida the Great ! I hope he recovers. He was always among Benedict’s staunchest allies! And implacable foe of the Bergoglian lavenders.
