Prevost to renounce U.S.A. Citizenship to avoid discovery of undeclared income?

Editor’s Note: A criminal charge from the United States Internal Revenue Service could cause problems with money transfers to the Vatican, such as donations in the name of Prevost or Leo XIV.  Of course, in the USA the old way of catching Mafiosi was to audit their tax returns and compare them to how much money was being transferred into bank accounts they controlled. So there may be many reasons for renouncing U.S.A. citizenship, especially if bribes from the CCP, USAID or other Cardinals were received or paid out. —  And the information gathered by the IRS could be used to blackmail Provost at any time, if there are irregularities. As an Augustinian Monk he should not have any bank accounts at all. So the concern to renounce U.S. Citizenship is bizzare, especially since when a U.S.A. citizen becomes a foreign monarch he loses that citizenship automatically. However, Prevost is only the Monarch of the Vatican City State IF he was validly elected. Thus this concern is hard to explain unless Prevost is a Mafioso, on the take, or knows he was invalidly elected.
