Cardinal Riggitano is distant relative of Albert Camus, the Absurdist

Editor’s Note: This blood relation has to do with his mother’s lineage, Suzanne Fontaine. Albert Camus is one of the most notorious Absurdist, “the world has no meaning” philosophers of the 20th century. You can see from his face the similarities with Prevost, though the relationship is distant. He is also a blood relative of the French soccer star, Eric Cantona, now actor. — Let us say that having famous relatives who were Atheists and Actors does not line up well for the job he claims to have right now.

Further research into the Cardinal paternal lineage has stopped at his great grand-father, for some reason, as there seems to be an effort to hide where his paternal family really hails from, though, records from the 18th century at Milazzo may have long ago disintegrated in the high humidity  environment, where Baptismal registers were poorly kept. I know that those from the 16th still survive in some towns of the province of Messina, because I have seen them with my own eyes.
