Austen Ivereigh: Prevost is an expert manipulator & ingratiator

Editor’s Note: There is an old saying, “An abyss summons an abyss” (Psalm 41:8-11), and as the Saint say, “One demon opens the door to a worse demon”. The official biographer of Pope Francis, in the above article, nearly canonizes him for his ability to work with people and re-arrange bureaucrats in a bureaucracy. — And we just saw that in Provost’s “appointment” of a heretic to St. Gallen and shipping Cardinal Sarah off to the French Shrine of Saint Anne, as his representative for the feast day this summer. — I have seen fakes like this in the cloth many a time, in my 40+ years of my vocation: he will be all smiles and gentleness, but when contradicted then he will show his fangs and claws.

  1. Abyssus Abyssum Invocat (Deep is calling to Deep) is Bishop Emeritus Henry René Gracida’s episcopal motto.

He gives it a more positive interpretation here:

I haven’t seen any update on his situation since you and Ann Barnhardt asked us to pray for him, but I assume he still needs our prayers.

    1. I have not seen anything either. The Bishop has the grace of longevity, and I would not be surprised he is back home within a month.
