Some people are so wacked, they’d prefer to doubt Saints than doubt Prevost’s election

Editor’s Note: The teaching of the Catechism for the last 70 has been woefully inadequate, as can be seen from this long essay, in which the writer is trying to figure out how Prevost can say Pope Francis is in heaven, without being a heretic. He cannot even figure out whether Pope Francis was a heretic. He seems even not to know the definition of the word, “heretic”. But someone at The Catholic Thing, nevertheless, thinks his essay on ignorance is worthy of being published. — O Lord, save us!

This is another example of how the Freemasons control the narrative: permit everything to be discussed in detail and at length, but never, never allow anyone to question the BigLies in the Globalist Narrative.

Shame on The Catholic Thing! Shame!

Sanborn Sedevacantists insist Leo XIV is validly elected

I have for a long time been of the opinion that Sedevacantists are either nuts or intentionally dishonest. I know that they read FromRome.info, but they nevertheless pronounce Leo XIV validly elected. Worse, they deny that the objective dissonance of facts and laws can lead to the presumption that his election is invalid!

Yet, they insist he is a heretic.

I wonder how much USAID money they got.

Their position is, that if you hear a man scream out in agony, and rush into the room and find Prevost holding the bloody knife and stabbing the unarmed man, that you cannot presume it was a murder.

This is psychological manipulation with a lot of lace, incense and Latin!

Why do I feel that I am back in 2008, when a man who was not a natural born citizen, and therefore ineligible to be elected President, was defended by similar faulty arguments for 8 years, insisting that we must presume he is President because he was elected. — Maybe because the same hands were behind both election?

Shame on Bishop Sanborn and his priests! Who think like Modernists and Freemasons, but pray in Latin.

Catholics! Know Your Rights!

The correct,  Catholic and perennial position about the validity of Papal Elections is seen in the history of the papacy, namely, that a Papal Election is NEVER presumed to be valid, if the rules were broken or if the Candidate was NOT eligible: and was declared invalid, AS SOON AS either fact was known by the knower.

It’s common sense, and you do not even need to know Latin to see that. The Catholic Church is not an ideological Marxist gulag, where no one is able to think without the permission of a court. But the Masonic Lodges require people to believe this, because it is a necessary tool in controlling thought.

The historical reality about contested Papal Elections is this: the Catholic Laity voted with their feet, and the Holy Spirit led them to the true Pope. It is the one kind of dispute in the Church that is not settled in a tribunal or court, but in the congregation of Catholics around the true Pope. And the Church has never taught that you need permission to urge the election of a Catholic Pope, or to adhere to the Catholic Pope against an anti-Pope.

In this matter, all the Faithful are free to act on the basis of their own conscience, and have no judge but God, and that is how the Church remains free; thus …

  1. As soon as you see that the manner of the election violated the Papal Law on Elections, or that the candidate elected is not a Catholic, you are absolutely free to say he is not the Pope and to not obey him.
  2. And, you are also free to break off communion with anyone who says the opposite, though this is by no means always a moral obligation.
  3. And most of all, as soon as you know a man is not the Pope, after a faulty election, you are absolutely totally free to urge a correct election and to adhere to the Catholic Pope correctly elected, as soon as he is elected.
  4. Finally, not even your confessor or spiritual director has the right to intervene in this decision, nor even your immediate or intermediary superiors.

  1. Brother, what other intances in history has there been of a papal election that did not follow the rules?

  2. St. Bede the Venerable
    27 May 2025 A. D.

I believe of Anti-Popes there have been 37 or 39. Bergoglio made it forty (or so), so I call him Franky Forty—Fortieth Antipope in Church History.

I also like to add that to their credit the first 39, unlike Bergoglio and now Prevost, at least had the decency to be Catholic.

    1. We need Catholics who are trained in jurisprudence to start writing papers about the juridical problems in this election, as that will help greatly expand the discussion.

  3. I can more or less imagine where Pope Pancho is but I am CERTAIN that most Catholic Media stinks to high heaven. I stopped reading them more than two decades ago.

I may be wrong about other things but I know I am right about Catholic media. I’ve known them up close.

    1. “Pope Pancho” lol !! It took me a while [as a 2012 convert…] to completely reject the lay-led Catholic media propaganda but the Scamdemic sowed serious ‘seeds of doubt’ and their astonishing “flip-flop” following the recent rigged Conclave confirmed my worst suspicions!

My experiences over the last 13 years in the linked-parishes in my home city is that 99% of the faithful believe everything their priests & bishops tell them and, if they do happen to read online or print media, they believe everything the ‘catholic’ journalists are saying & stating……

“But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, Faith on earth?” [St Luke 18: 8. Douay version]

  4. The last two sections of this article concerning ‘the rights of the Catholic faithful’ bring to mind Abp Fulton Sheen’s well-known 1972 quote:-
“Who is going to save our Church?
Not our bishops, not our priests and Religious.
It’s up to you, the people. You have the minds, the eyes, the ears to save the Church. Your mission is to see that your priests act like priests, your bishops act like bishops, and your Religious act like Religious.”

Thankfully there is one notable exception to Abp Sheen’s critique – Brother Alexis Bugnolo!

St Augustine of Canterbury, pray for us.
And, in my home diocese – Blessed Margaret Pole, pray for us.

    1. The Good Archbishop probably never met a hermit, since the status of hermits was abolished after the Council of Trent and only reintroduced in the code of 1983 by Pope John Paul II.

      1. Interesting – a positive postconciliar development which restored an ancient Catholic practice, as compared with so many innovations, novelties, and protestantized shenanigans introduced & oftentimes mandated in the 60s/70s/80s!
