Cardinals Ignore First Consistory with Cardinal Prevost

Report by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Did you know that Cardinal Prevost, acting like a pope, convened a Consistory of the Cardinals last Friday? Yes. Undoubtedly, your local Catholic Media told you about this? No.

No.

Take a look at he photograph by Vatican News above. And you might see why.

Yes, we were told that the canonization of various saints was approved.

But mention of the First Public Consistory of Cardinals convened during the new “papacy” was in stark contrast, NOT a news item.

This is strange, since one of the major complaints of many Cardinals was that in 10 years, Pope Francis never held a Consistory.

In the photograph above about 70 cardinals can be seen.

There are 250 Cardinals in the College of Cardinals.

During a Consistory, ALL the Cardinals are supposed to attend.

Indeed, in the past, not attending could be grounds for an excommunication. After all, what are Cardinals for, if not to be heard during Consistories about the needs of the Church.

This is a major snub to the new “pope”.

This follows the fiasco of Cardinal Prevost’s meeting with the 8000 clergy serving at Rome, Italy, last week, on Wednesday, when only about 1000 showed up.

Yet, we are told that Cardinal Prevost has a wonderful personality and is great to be with.

What are we to believe, our eyes, or the propaganda?

    1. Me too. I want to see the Roll call for the Cardinals present on April 30, when they deceitfully claimed a dispensation out of thin air.
