Editor’s Note: Mundabor is such a virile courageous man, that he has hidden behind clown faces for more than a decade, letting us know that he is an Italian who lives at London and admired President Regan. (I agree that he is not an Englishman, since he occasionally uses the wrong preposition in English, or the wrong helping verb, or spells proper names of classical reference in a non-English way).
He has very strong opinions: that he has the right to insult anyone, especially the pope. And that no one has the right to doubt the uncanonically elected popes are true popes.
He is especially addicted to Dominant Narratives, and believes only the Elites know the truth, and any spirit of questioning THEM must be stomped out of existence. So he may be an admirer of Mussolini, for all I know, or the former boy-friend of Ann Barnhardt, because their characters are very similar when they rage and rant, though Mundabor is more gentile, since he rarely uses names.
He went into a literally mental fit of rage today, when one of his readers in a comment raised the question that Leo XIV’s election may be invalid. — Mundabor, in March admitted he has been playing everyone for 12 years. He has no hope, and he thinks his readers are collectively responsible for all the evil in the world.
In the above article he calls open minded Catholics “bigots” and characterizes them as “fantasy people”, by which, I think he is trying to signify, persons addicted to alternate realities. He has, as you can see, totally flipped the categories of truth and reality, with narrative and propaganda.
He is, what we call in the United States, a ‘real piece of work’. — I publish this for the sake of the historical record, as FromRome.Info’s chief editorial policy is to chronicle events in Church history and in Catholic Media.
Personally, I worry about Mundabor, because if we ever get a Saint on the throne of Saint Peter I fear he will have a nervous breakdown. But thankfully he seems to exist only on his blog, because he is a real control freak when it comes to what he will allow others around him to say or think.
Mundabor should be pitied, because he is trying to navigate these years of scandal in the Church with his personally chosen rules of thought, and the only way to out-gas his resulting frustration — because his rules of thought are wrong — are his diatribes at his blog. I get the impression that for Mundabor he thinks evil is an entity rather than a privation, so it must be insulted rather than fixed. — It’s not a healthy form of psychology nor even a healthy way to confront real problems in the world. And worse of all, it is a trap into which you cannot escape when someone points to a possible exit, as you can see from his blog post today, above, where he becomes discombobulated over a single comment from a reader who is concerned that the Conclave had no valid result.
All of this reminds me of the short story by C. S. Lewis, about the bus that offered to take the denizens of Hell on a tourist trip to Heaven.

The genre of Mundabor’s post I predicted on Monday, in my essay, “Anti-Faith: the sentiment of resistance without the hope of victory“, where I wrote:
The Save Rome Project, thus, is something outside of the limits of their self imposed psychological no-go zones, because it is based on the truth, they hate, on the laws, they ignore, and on the virtues they despise.

I am so grateful for your reminders bullying and peer pressure inside or outside of the school cafeteria simply ain’t cool. . . I really believe reading your blog has made me a more honest person. Thank you, Brother.
Yes, I have, but I am not covering all the heretics and perverts he is promoting, because everyone he is promoting is a heretic or a pervert or both.
The sad but real irony here is that the Latin word ‘Mundabor’ is usually translated as “I will clean”……with the inference that this blogger is intent on cleaning all the ‘filth’ in the Church……but his blogposts are oftentimes foul-mouthed with profanities etc., likewise his responses to any comments are rude to the point of being absurd.
This “Real piece of Work” has a mental problem so we need to prayerfully adopt most of the Spiritual Works of Mercy :-
– To give counsel to the doubtful;
– To instruct the ignorant;
– To admonish sinners;
– To comfort the afflicted;
– To forgive offences;
– To bear patiently the troublesome
……and hope that he can repent, amend his life, go to confession, and receive absolution from a validly ordained priest.
Satan & his wicked spirits capture many discouraged & disappointed & lapsed Catholics via the deadly sins of Pride, Anger, Lust, Envy, & Spiritual Sloth……
Funny you should mention Lewis. ‘Mundy’ has a few things in common with Lewis. Both are self-deluded cult-figures, who write to deceive themselves and others. Lewis was hell-bent on fashioning a traditional Christianity for moderns that refuses the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Christ. ‘mundabor’ is hell-bent on fashioning a traditional Catholicism has anti-Christs as the Vicars of Christ. Both are perfidious.
