I first began using the Internet back in 1991, and as an apostolate in 1993, when in my former institute I was tasked by my superiors to put the entire order on the web. I am thus a sort of dinosaur, since I have 34 years of experience and generally I have seen every kind of grift there is out there, and crossed swords with not a few of the leading figures. But since 2013, a new generation of social media apostolates have been launched by laymen, all targeting Catholics and aiming to prevent them to react to the problems in the Church as Catholics of old did.
To do this, they engage in limited hangouts, the intelligence agency term for pretending to be a friend in the opposition, but doing and not doing everything necessary to prevent the opposition from unifying and acting against your paymasters.
From Feb. 11, 2013 to Dec. 31, 2023, their mantra was, “Benedict validly resigned”, and from March 13, 2013, to April 21, 2025, it was, “Pope Francis is definitely the pope”.
Most of these old guard grifters then began their new game of “Leo XIV is certainly the pope”.
This group of misinformation experts are seemingly in the direct employ of deeply dishonest stage-actors among the College of Cardinals, because their one ideological principle of unity is: Don’t you dare question the integrity or honesty of the Cardinals, and Don’t you dare take any action without their approval.
But there is a new Grift in town, laicism on steroids
Since Vatican II a lot of laymen have been pushing the Masonic Agenda of taking down the Church from within, by becoming active and influential while refusing to join the priesthood or become religious. They see the laity who are faithful has having more rights to govern the Church than bishops and priests. And they have been itching for years to grab power, a thing they could not do in the old grifter regime, which assiduously waited hand and foot on the tassels of this or that Cardinal or traditionalist Bishop.
And this new grift-theme is a thing which I call, “Neo-Sedevacantism”.
The apparent leader of this movement appears to be Chris Jackson, who for 13 years has written articles using as his personal photograph, the photo of a journalist from 1940, back in the first years of press control by the then Department of War. It’s not glizy but it’s very retro looking.
His circle appears to include Nicholas Owens and Steve Kokx, at the very least. Frank Walker of Canon212.com is strongly promoting them and all their posts, as if they suddenly graduated from the school of journalism and were running professional newspapers. By all accounts none of them has any credentials to write on topics of Faith, Theology or Canon Law.
I am not even sure if “Chris Jackson” exists, because it seems to be a nom-du-plume for a group of writers, since he publishes much to much material of various topics to imagine that he is a dad holding down a full time job anywhere. He may be a priest writing under an assume name, yes. But seeing that leading members of Trad Inc. from the hard right of Michael Matt to the left of center Peter Skojec have allowed him to use a fake photograph for more than a decade, he must be someone or some group which is very influential and in an executive position in comparison to them.
This was emphasized yesterday when Steve Kokx, recently let go from LifeSite News, wrote a “Chris is the only hero of the moment” post, on his own substack, a work of such oozing propaganda, that I will let you read it on your own time, here.
Steve has not been out of a job in more than like a week and he is already in ideological lockstep with Jackson and others, in rolling out reasons to return once again to the topic of sedevacantism, while they join in a barrage of attacks on Cardinal Burke, who is not by any means or measure the only Cardinal responsible for the debacle of the last 13 years. But as they chose the standard cut-out punching bag to blame, it is for certain that they are involved in a Narrative Game, not in a Christian based ethical project.
The barbs that all of these writers place at key points in their posts on Substack, is making it more and more clear that what they are working toward, in my estimation, seems to be:
- A Church without a Pope
- A Diocese without a Bishop
- A Notion of fidelity to the Church which does not include submission to
- A Pope
- The Church of Rome
- The Sacred Hierarchy
- The Priesthood
I call their project “Neo-Sedevacantism”, because unlike the Sedevacantists of previous decades, who were content to say the Popes of Rome were heretics, or that the Sacraments of Vatican II were null and invalid, were scrupulous to find traditional Bishops and promote vocations of men to the traditional priesthood or of women and men to traditional religious life, they seem to want laymen to have all the influence and be the gatekeepers and founders of the whole psyop.
This new movement however, has the mantra of “Recognize and Withdraw” from the communion of the Church. They are like the Old-Orthodox in the Russian Orthodox Church, but are have arguments more substantial than how the name of Jesus is spelled in Cyrillic.
That this group is strongly backed by some other network can be seen in how many thousands of followers they are garnering in a very short time, an phenomenon which is quite disproportionate to the value and quality of their writings.
I do not exclude, because of their ideological position, and because of Frank Walker’s support, that they are backed by Russian Federation agents of some sort, since they are basically following the same lines of schism as lay-run Russian Orthodox splinter groups follow.
UPDATE: Feast of Saint Alexis, Man of God — Ann Barnhardt seems to be a supporter of Chris Jackson too, on account of her recent blog post, entitled, “I want to be Chris Jackson when I grow up“, a really hilarious title, if you know anything about Ann. But this is no surprise to me, because she nearly had a mental breakdown in the spring of 2022, when she heard I had hitchhiked to Warsaw to help Ukrainian refugees from the war. You see, she has a profound admiration for Vladimir Putin.
This circle is obviously a heretical and schismatic movement, and I urge all my readers to pay attention to the writings of anyone pushing this agenda. In your social media interactions, point out that their proposal is NOT the Catholic way. The Catholic way is helping the Church of Rome elect a Catholic Pope and supporting him against the anti-popes installed by the enemies of the Church, for it is the Roman Pontiff who is the Vicar of Christ on Earth, and it is the Roman Church which presides before all others in the charity which unifies us in the Truth which is Jesus Christ, by the charism of Her unique foundation. — And this Catholic Way has a specific project, aimed at doing the most momentous thing the Church of Rome can do in the face of this Globalist takeover of the Church by the anti-pope Leo XIV: it is called the “Save Rome Project, and you can read about it here.

I could not agree more, you put words to my own thoughts. The enemy is attacking Holy Mother Church on every one of her marks:
Her oneness
Her Holiness
Her Catholicity
Her Apostolicity
Also Her communion with the successor of St Peter.
Our enemy is attacking these tap roots of the True Religion because the goal of Judeo-Masonry is to make Christ kosher, so a form of Unitarianism is to be the acceptable reworking such that Trinitarian doctrine is destroyed and Jesus Christ’s true status as True God AND true man is denied and His offensiveness to Jewish ears, hearts and minds therefore eliminated.
At the top level, the best and most faithful of Catholics are being targeted by Steve “we got the Trads” Bannon to form a moral alliance with religious Jews against wokeism and to introduce Noahide Law by stealthy affiliation. I suspect this is where Westen, Kokx and Jackson fit in whether consciously or as useful idiots I know not.
Orthodox are all over the Trad online space trying to seduce less deeply grounded Catholics and particularly young males who are otherwise attracted to Traditional Catholicism. The Orthodox denial of the filioque is also a slightly more subtle attack on Trinitarian doctrine, but an attack nevertheless.
And at the level of conservative Novus Ordo, the attack is by fundamentalist Protestants whose doctrine for the most part is Unitarian with spiritism thrown in by some sects, so also a seriously defective and essentially kosher theology and ecclesiology that is perfectly acceptable to religious Jews.

.This was the reply I recieved in the Sacrament of Confession by a trad Jesuit priest circa 2009 when I confessed that I had a big problem with V2.
This is the truth about Hippolytus.
Hippolytus was an antipope from the yrs circa 200 ad to 217 ad.. in fact, he was the first antipope under 3 successive True Popes whose names one of whose name was Victor., .One was named Zephrinius, and I cannot recall the 3rd ones name . He garnered a significant number of followers to set himself up as the true Pope.And when they were all ex-communicated, and Hippolytus works which they followed were deemed heretical, they went undressed and continued their antipapacy.
Hippolytus was eventually arrested along with Pope Victor in about 217 ad. They were both brutally murdered by their enemies by tying Hippolytus to a horses tail and dragging him over rocks until he died. Pope Victor was also martyrdom for Christ at the same time.
The Catholic Church canonized both of them and both became Saints. Hippolytus CONDEMNEDworks were used as the basis for V2….look it up. This is the truth about how Hippolytus condemned works took over V2.
.. The Catholic Church teaches that Martyrdom for and in Jesus Christ is Automatic Canonization. Much like the thief on the Cross who asked Jesus to remember him when He came intobhis kingdom, and Jesus assured him that that day he would be with Him in Paridise. This is the crux of the battle of V2 that has. Not been revealed IT won’t be resolved until the real Truth comes out.

He popped up on my Substack feed and I’ve taken great interest in his posts, which seem intelligent, well-written, and persuasive. But in reading the comments, I’m disturbed by the blatant attacks on prelates – especially Cardinal Burke, whom I know personally and love – and this has given me pause. I also read Steve Kokx’s pro-Jackson post and found it interesting. The fact he suddenly seems everywhere, and so prolific, makes me think you’re onto something. Maybe he’s in an intel asset?

One thing that the leadership of the church has fallen asleep doing is really knowing their sheep. Having a rich fruitful relationship with living a life of service to the people of God and living a life where they are constantly with the people. Question: why don’t all bishops have weekly audiences? why don’t they draw their people out of the cities and gather weekly to celebrate and live according the faith and unity? I’ve met hundreds of catholics and non-catholics who have never had an audience with or a conversation with their bishop.
I was in La Crosse three times in 2024, and met numerous locals who had never been to the Guadalupe Shrine and had never even heard of Cardinal Burke. There I was, inviting locals to the shrine to pray and learn about the faith.
We are victims of coldness and silent distance of having no access to “those charged with the responsibility of our souls.” One time, I ran into our archbishop at Whole Foods. He was literally in regular clothing and was getting some stuff so he could go to a friend’s bbq. It was awkward and sad at the same time.
We also have a problem that stems from the issue I mentioned above, the body of Christ has failed to realize living in the Unitive Way. Every day catholics fall in to mortal sin daily and sometimes multiple times a day; meanwhile, everyone is looking to the pope as their bishop because he’s on tv and in their news. Such a distorted view of the apostolic work and life that was laid out by the apostles. I would be so joyous to hear a bishop show up outside my house saying, everyone inside comeout and be baptized; even my children. But that would be a far hope in this day where they are living hidden lives; where we only see them at mass or some feast celebration.
It was not so in the beginning, before the year 1000, each town had it sown bishop. I think that is what the Apostles wanted, because the Bishop is supposed to be the Spiritual Shepherd and Father. Also, since the Council of Trent, the minor orders were restricted more an more, so that at Vatican II they suppressed them. Without porters, exorcists, acolytes, lectors, subdeacons, how is a Bishop going to function? Not surprisingly, as the minor order died out, men were recruited to Masonic Lodges instead.
Each bishop’s individual “visibility” has also been radically suppressed since the institution of Bishops’ Conferences which, I believe, was authorised by Paul VI just after Vatican II.
Once I had discovered how notorious freemason-archbishop Annibale Bugnini and his liturgical cabal had deliberately protestantized Holy Mass I considered that Paul VI must have been a weak man & an extremely poor judge of character in other men……subsequently, I found out that he was a CIA agent, a freemason, and a homosexual so that “joined up all the dots”……

I never heard he was CIA, but as a pervert, it was said by many he was subject to extortion. — In addition, Paul VI was a sort of satanic pervert, since he went to far as to build a Catholic Church, here at Rome, in the Trigoria part of the city, which has the form of a human posterior, when seen from the air, and when you enter, there is a stain glass window showing the Holy Spirit descend through a hole about where the anus should be. This is beyond obscene. The parish is co-dedicated to Saint Michel the Archangel, to add insult to sacrilege.

I agree 100% with your suspicion that “Chris Jackson” is a nom-de-plume for a group of writers – no individual could produce the volume of lengthy articles that appear, almost daily, in such a way that they become a burden rather than a catechetical experience……
A couple of months ago I starting reading the “Chris Jackson” articles as they appeared to give a more truthful account than other ‘grifters’ of the various shenanigans in the Church following the “election” of “Pope Leo XIV”……but once the articles started to coincide with those published at FromRome.info it quickly became clear as to who spoke the Truth and who was the neo-sedevacantist!
Fr Isaac Mary’s frequent podcasts [usually weekly] are always worth listening to and he is not shy in robustly criticizing “Pope Leo XIV” for continuing with the heretical agenda of Pope Francis/Vatican II and promoting corrupt bishops to senior Vatican responsibilities.
BUT……he has not yet questioned the validity of the recent conclave and, near the start of his most recent podcast, Fr Isaac states “…the question of a heretical Pope has never been definitively resolved” which, surely, is incorrect as the combination of Canon Law & various Papal Bulls set out the precise Church regulations which, if not observed correctly by any Catholic, place them outside of the Church?!

Protestant churches of all flavors are all based on synodality. Into the catacombs we go while they pretend all of this is bloody normal.
The Catholic Church down the street was rebuilt in 1936 after a fire destroyed the original 1800s structure. The parish just decided it was better to tear this historic beauty down because the 1936 structure was to be “temporary.” So now, we have a dirt lot because some believe the views were bad in the old historic church. SMH. 2.5 million was allocated for a new Church build. . . Everyone was smiling as they broke new ground where the quaint 1936 church stood. So strange. I don’t understand how this was even allowed to happen. I feel sad for the younger generations who will think a 1980s church a historical one.
I digress, but this parish community is a fine example of mindless vain synodality in action…sadly!
Brother Bugnolo, how are objective outward criticisms of the hierarchy with petition for remediation distinguished from the same outward actions but driven by the intention of destroying the hierarchy? I am having trouble discerning criteria for distinguishing these two.
I think you will see it in the petition, whether it is actionable and targets the real problem, or whether it is merely virtue signalling or attempt to say, “We got you!”
