  1. The Federal Reserve’s philosophy has prioritized low inflation over job creation for about half a century now. (and with each successive fed chair this has gotten worse — though powell is slightly more dovish than “kranky bernanke” was) A stable economy requires at least 200,000 in job growth per month here in the states, and it’s been a couple years since we’ve seen those kind of numbers. So it’s just a matter of time before we have a recession. This isn’t new. Every boom bust cycle happens this way. As the old saying goes… THE FEDERAL RESERVE: CREATING RECESSIONS SINCE 1913
