Father Reylea: The WM Review is a sedevacantist publication

Editor’s Note: Here is the level of journalistic integrity that you find online. The WM Review which no where on its website identifies itself as “sedevacantist”, publishes an article in which they take some quotes from Father Reylea identifying their publication as “sedevacantist”.  And they praise the Franciscan priest for nevertheless approving of some of their publications. — Why did they not tell their readers that from the beginning? And why did they choose to reveal this through such an article.

I am reminded by something similar in the case of John Calvin, the founder of Calvinism, whose father was a Catholic priest, and who was begotten out of Christian wedlock, and thus was barred from becoming a Catholic priest. To solve his problem he founded his own Church. And one of the books he wrote is entitled, “Institutions”.

I remember that decades ago, when I was looking at the quality of the academic programs being offered by Boston College and Catholic University of America, I found that this work of Calvin was obligatory reading for all seeking a Doctorate in Theology. So I tracked down a copy of the book and perused it.

And what did I find? That large portions of it merely reiterated late Scholastic Authors, and presented Catholic Doctrine, but many parts of it contained heresy.

In Catholic Social media what should one do in similar cases?

If you have studied the Scholastic Theologians, and peruse an author like Calvin to critique his work not to admire it, there is little danger, because you are competent in the material and are able to recognize a fake argument in defense of an error. But many who read Calvin did not come to this conclusion, because they respected Calvin before they read his book of lies and heresies.

The same happens on “Catholic” social media. The WM Review thus is acting in a very deceitful and deceptive manner to misinform its readers. I have already commented on their articles, in the last few weeks, demonstrating this practice of theirs.

If. Mr. Wright is trying to exploit more Catholics by publishing the above article, he may fool some people, but he is not going to fool me, because it is clear that he is a highly immoral man and a charlatan.

  1. Deception is always the first strategy of the enemy and, clicking on the “About” sub-heading of WM Review shows clearly their logo which has more than a hint of freemasonic symbolism in it……I seem to recall another regular commenter at FromRome.info mentioning this a few days ago?!
