Editor’s Note: This statistic does not surprise me at all, because it has been 50 years since you could expect that on Sunday, that the priest would teach the Faith, rather than make sociological discourses or instruct you in the principles of socialist “feel good about the world, God loves you, be tolerant” etc.. It’s the majority of the clergy who have driven the Faithful away, because the Faithful want those who will shepherd them to Christ, not preach a vague spirituality packaged in marshmallow sentiments.
And the reason the priests preach this way, is that if they did not, their DeepState appointed Bishops would give them 24 hours to pack and leave.
Saint Anthony Marie Claret y Claret, the extraordinary Spanish Saint and one of the Fathers who attended the First Vatican Council, once was asked what he thought of the most famous preacher in Spain in his day. He responded, something to the effect: “His elegant discourses are entirely worthless because he never mentions Hell.”
We need to get back to the same Gospel preached by Jesus: Death, Judgement, Heaven or Hell. And this Gospel cannot be preached by a priest who jokes and attempts to entertain the Congregation, because, like cartoon statues of the Saints, the character of the message subconsciously declares it to be a joke or myth or legend, not the inescapable eternal risks for which the Gospel of Jesus Christ alone can apply a remedy.
This is why a Liturgy which is “updated” is really a liturgy which denies Heaven, Hell, Death and Judgment. And this is why Vatican II could not but fail, since it founds it’s purpose for being in the de facto and effective denial of the Two-Thousand Year history of the Catholic Religion focused on the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, which rightfully and appropriately is deadly serious in everything it taught and prayed.

On this Vigil of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, let us all continue to pray for the election of a Roman Catholic Pope before the end of the current liturgical year.
His first task should be the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in conjunction with every Cardinal/Archbishop/Bishop around the world.
His second task should be the suppression then abrogation of the entirety of Vatican II commencing with the ‘Novus Ordo’ [nervus disordo…] quasi-protestant liturgy.
His third task should be……[I’m sure that the Editor & readers can provide many suggestions!]
