Editor’s Note: There is a spiritual sickness in the air of the Church since February 11, 2013, in which clerics rail against a problem, while affirming as true the error which is the source of the problem. — Here we have the case with Fr. Nix’s recent post, in which he says, glaringly, “The Holy See stated”, in regard to the claim made by the Cardinals in the General Congregation on April 30, 2025, to have received a “dispensation” from Pope Francis — a claim which was purely and totally gratuitous without any claimed documentation in fact or law. — But Father Nix says the press release was made by the Apostolic See, as if there was a reigning pope!
Oh boy.

The Book on the Trinity, every faithful Catholic priest would love as his next present
This is Br. Bugnolo's English Translation, of Saint Bonaventure's encylopedic book of theology on the Trinity: With this book, your priest will always have something intelligent and awesomely inspiring to preach to you about
God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit!

Hmmm……Fr Nix seems to be “going round in endless circles” spreading rumour & half-truths without ever ‘grasping the nettle’ of the fundamental, underlying, factual truth[s].
And the names of Br. Alexis Bugnolo & FromRome.info are, of course, conspicuously absent from his tsunami of blogpost words……
St Bernard, Abbot & Doctor of the Church [1090-1153], pray for us. Today’s saint is a wonderful example for any cleric – at heart a monk of the Cistercian Order, after being raised in a noble family, humility & chastity & devotion to Our Lady were the cornerstones of his life; he unmasked errors & condemned heretics at various Councils & preached the second crusade for Europe against the Turks. And he founded 165 monasteries in Europe & Asia!
He also got Anacletus II, the Jewish antipope removed from office and put the true Pope, Innocent II, back on his throne.

Thanks – Oh! how much does Holy Mother Church need a monk/prelate with the courage & fortitude of St Bernard right now……??!
I fear if Elijha returned and raised 120 dead back to life in front of cameras, Trad Inc would not cover it, if he said Leo XIV was not the pope.
Because when you grift on evil, you love lies for the sake of avarice.
And that is the only religion left for 99% of those who claim to be “Catholic” “independent” journalists.
One reader of FromRome.Info, who does not support the Save Rome Project, thought that if he only kept quiet about the solution, someone would listen to him when he wrote about the canonical problems in the Conclave.
After 4 weeks he was totally frustrated, because no one would share his articles.
So you see, the solution is actually the solution to all of the problems, because those who do not want the solution, are not those for whom the solution is the solution: those who dont want a solution, dont want a problem, because for them the AntiChurch is their destiny and identity.
This is the true Great Divide.
That is why the Apostle St. John said only the merchants would morn the overthrow of the Whore of Babylon.
A modern translation for “merchants” would be “grifters”.
With a Catholic pope everyone will get what they wanted and needed for 70 years, and then no one will read their little publications, since there wont be any reason to whine, virtue signal or play the victim. It will be the end of laymen grifting and preaching.
You are quite right by pointing out that “THE Holy See” used with the definite article refers specifically to the see of the Bishop of Rome, whom that Church sees as the successor of Saint Peter, and that there was no one in the Chair of Peter when the Cardinals claimed their alleged dispensation.
On the other hand, given what else Fr. Nix has written, this is perhaps an inadvertent grammatical imprecision. A very serious one, to be sure, but not a conscious affirmation that there was a pope at the time the dispensation was alleged. Simple logic would tell us that. No pope had yet been elected, and had Bergoglio been a valid pope, he was dead, so there wasn’t and couldn’t have been a pope at the time of the dispensation. Fr. Nix would know this, of course.
Hence, Fr. Nix used “the Holy See” imprecisely to express the idea of a communication through the Vatican press office from whoever was manipulating the puppet strings at the time. He should have said something like “From Rome” (oh, wait, I guess that’s taken.)
You and Fr. Nix are both earnest and intelligent men who love the Church, so you are on the same side, the right side.
I know it was only sloppy writing, but I wanted to make the point that the Cardinals are not the Holy See, though they think they are.
I feel betrayed when Father Nix and others fail to mention FromRome.info regarding the last 2 conclaves. I feel they are being dishonest, even at a journalism level, not to address the vast work found on FromRome.info and ordo-militaris.net. I guess he cares more about fraternizing with Mel G.
Father Nix knows that if he mentioned my name, he would never be invited again to anything in the USA. Because the Trad Inc. communion he moves in are totally controlled opposition, and generally pro Russian. They even are alleged to have bi-annual meetings to discuss who to black list.
