Candace Owens lost all respect I had for her when I saw the first video that Erica Kirk – Candace’s dear friend – made after her husband’s alleged assassination.
Even allowing for a large measure of gut-churning eye-watering theatrics in that spooky video, as I think would be fair to allow for any American beauty queen, that was so extreme as to be suspect, to say the least. She seems to be broadcasting ‘Don’t worry – it’s all a hoax!’
Candace’s followers on x seem to be in a trance. I haven’t looked deeply into it but so far I’ve seen no one comment to her on that glaring warning sign.
To what video are you refering? please share a link. How can Candace be at fault for something Erica said or did?
This video originally began with at least 5 minutes of still footage of the studio from which CK used to make his videos, and the now empty chair in which he sat. If I’m not mistaken it was livestreamed. Judge for yourself what effect that long wait with no countdown or anything would have on viewers.
Unless I missed it (I haven’t looked) Candace has not acknowledged or replied to the many comments on EK doing this only a few days after her husband’s apparent assassination, and the sheer weirdness of her manner. Maybe it’s unusual of me but if a dear friend of mine, as Candace has described Erica is to her, was so publicly criticized less than a week after her husband was assassinated I would ‘raise hell’.

Candace Owens and Erika Kirk as both U.S. citizens but come from wildly different social backgrounds. And how women perceive criticism from other women, I will grant, is something men cannot understand. Being removed from the situation, I do not think anything Candace or anyone has said is offensive to Erika. Erika was going to address conspiracy theories but cancelled that podcast. I cannot comprehend what she is going through, and how she is relating, since I do not know what kind of intellectual or emotional formmation she had, but I don’t see the conflict you see, and would counsel you not to get so upset by perceived differences of opinion between these two women who know one another better than you and I do.
