Editor’s Note: I will admit that this development is a surprise to me, and that I do not know much about it. But the claim to the papacy by Don Minutella is obviously entirely without any canonical foundation, since the assembly at Milan was not called by any member of the Clergy of the Church at Rome, nor by anyone that they tacitly allowed to act.

The above video was published by Andrea Cionci, and still visible on Oct. 15, 20205, and then subsequently made private to hide the report, perhaps because it was featured here at FromRome.Info, though it might just as well be because he was threatened with a defamation lawsuit. — Yet, from his channel it appears all his videos about Don Minutella have disappeared.
And in this recent video here, he retracts his assertion that Don Minutella has been proclaimed a pope, saying that he misunderstood the meaning of the statements made in it, but continues to criticize the Minutellians in their presumption that they can elect a pope, arguing that falsely every antipope is also a heretic, though arguing rightly that every antipope is a schismatic. — So I have added a question mark to the title of this present article, leaving the rest, for the sake of historical record. In this second video he denies there is any legitimate way to elect a pope, without giving any reason, though I have definitively shown from Nicholas II and the principle of forfeiture of right that his opinion is wrong.
This declaration or acclamation was made on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Milan, in what appears to be a stadium, in violation of both the Papal Law of John Paul II and the Papal Bull of Nicholas II, since the clergy of other Churches have no role in electing the Roman Pontiff; not to mention that Don Minutella, excommunicated by the Archbishop of Palermo in 2021, is in virtue of Canon 1331 § 2 incapable of being elected to any ecclesiastical office. — Don Mintuella’s father was a member of the Carabinieri, the Military Police of Italy, and I guess that it was the Italian Ministry of Defense, Gladio Section, which asked him to do this, to add even more confusion, for now the Church has 2 antipopes.
In this video, above, Andrea Cionci himself points out that the claim of Minutella is based on an acclamation by his supporters, without any canonical process. So Cionci calls Minutella an antipope, but still addresses him as “Pope Leo of Mary”, most likely because, being himself close to the Italian Ministry of Defense, he cannot oppose entirely a psyop of a fellow comrade.
Thus the “Piccolo Resto”, or “Little Remnant” has become its own schismatic Church. The other problem is, that you cannot be the pope without being consecrated a Bishop, a thing which Minutella has not yet received, as far as I know.
None of these happenings worry me so much. In fact it is laughable. But the souls whom Minutella has brainwashed over the years would believe any claim he makes, that was certain to me years ago. These people let a YouTuber recruit them and condition them into total obedience. But nearly none of them were practicing Catholics, and nearly all the women were divorced.
Should we pray for their repentance and conversion? Of course, but there is not much hope as they have stopped using their rational faculties and are entertained like 4 times a day on YouTube by Minutella and his collaborators, so their connection to the Matrix is formidable.
However, according to Pope Nicholas II, usurpers of the Apostolic See are Antichrists. So now there are two antichrists in Italy, and no true pope.

What next? It’s bad enough that we have Freemasons cancelling the TLM all over the place, now this? I believe that Traditionis Custodes was a manmade document not inspired by Jesus. Jesus would never cancel the Mass of the Ages, since He is the one who Instituted the highest form of worship to God, ever! So why must we obey Popes like Francis & Leo, who choose anti-Catholic worship, when real Catholics want to worship as the Doctors of the Church did? All the music in the N.O. is Protestant! I know they want to take down the Church, but they are denying many Faithful the right to worship in a Catholic setting! We are CATHOLIC, & want to remain CATHOLIC! We need to make it understood that we love our Catholicism, & we don’t want it changed- EVER!
The truth is that Francis was not the pope when he published Traditionis Custodes, and so that document is worth as much as used toilet paper. And Leo was unlawfully elected, so his command to enforce is equally without authority.
