Luciani, though a Vatican II Sect heretic, was not an ‘enemy’ of God and he read the (authentic 25 line) Third Secret of Fatima; and, in response, seemingly, was going to suppress / anathematise Vatican II. He wrote to Fr. Gomar DePauw, summoning him to Rome to receive the red hat and to oversee the reinstatement of holy Mass in place of the NO Mass.
That is why he was killed, not because of the Vatican Bank, notwithstanding that filthy issue would certainly also have been given definite attention.
You are entitled to your own opinion, but when JP2 was elected, the US Ambassador sent a cable to DC saying, “We got our man”, which implies that JP1 was not their man, and that they need him to go.
