Editor’s Note: This medieval tower of the Counts is located on the edge of the Roman forum, not far from the Headquarters of the Order of Malta and the Angelicum, and the Capitolium. — The tower was under reconstruction, but did not collapse entirely. — Off the Kamchatka Peninusula, on the other side of the Eurasian Continent, just hours before, there were two 6+ Richter scale earthquakes, according to https://terremoti.ingv.it/en — The 13th Century tower was built in 1238 by the brother of Pope Innocent III (d. 1216), one of the greatest medieval Canonist-Popes.

UPDATE: The Tower’s first partial collapse was at 11:20 A. M., and it second about an hour later. One worker was only rescued at Midnight (for more see HERE).
