At University I studied Anthropology, and took a course on physical anthropology, which was a preliminary for forensic anthropology, used to study corpses in criminal investigations and archeological investigations. So I do believe the information gathered by the Sister Lucia Truth team. Also, when this suspicion first aired, I personally viewed the Necrology for the Carmelite Order, which was at that time available online from their Generalate at Rome, and found the entry for Sr. Lucia Santos, listing her as having died before Vatican II. So I wrote their webmaster and asked how that could be, and he said “It must have been a typo.” and after that her necrology disappeared and then the entire document on Necrology. So I do believe that the Generalate has the death document proving the real sister died before Vatican II.
