Reading the Signs of our Times

The most apocalyptic reality in the Catholic Church today is the undeniable apostasy from Jesus Christ. Not only have the men who present themselves to us as our Popes and Bishops convinced in the importance of rejecting moral liability for their behavior, but a day does not go by when they egregiously deny Divinely Revealed Truths, without the slightest remorse of conscience.

And this is occurring not only among Bishops who claim to be progressives or liberals or who run after fame or fortune in this world, but also among those who present themselves as bastions of orthodoxy or traditionalism.

Taking Counsel with Saint John the Evangelist

Saint John the Apostle foretold in his Book of Revelations, the last book of the New Testament, that in the end, Satan, the Dragon, would deceive the clergy and strike them from their heavenly mission: depicting this in the twelfth chapter, verse three, just after the Great Sign of the Woman, Clothed with the Sun: a sign which came to pass, in part, at Fatima, on October 13, 1917 A. D..

As all the Saints and Fathers of the Church who have spoken on the matter, it is certain that Saint John the Apostle actually did see these visions, contained in the Book of Revelations, but that their true meaning is both a prophecy of the future history of the Church and of the world, though the images tell of this symbolically. Thus, it is both true to say that the Apostle actually saw these things, as he depicts them, and that they are NOT to be interpreted as the things he saw, but as signs of future events and persons, theologically described in Biblical language. 

Those who say the contrary are simply wrong and should not be listened to, especially since this Book of the Bible, being of such an unusual style of literature, yet entirely divinely inspired, cannot be understood rightly in any other way.

As we know, the Woman clothed with the Sun, is a symbol for the Immaculate Virgin Mother of Jesus Christ, as a person, and also for Holy Mother Church, as the institution mystically symbolized as Christ’s Bride.  Inasmuch as She is with child and gives birth, it tells of the Birth of Jesus Christ from the Woman foretold to Adam and Eve, as they were cast out of the Garden of Eden, and how She would triumph over all the wiles of Satan.  But inasmuch as the Woman with Child is a symbol of Holy Mother Church, the child also symbolizes all Faithful Catholics, whom both the Blessed Virgin Mary, given to them as their Heavenly Mother on Calvary, as Saint John alone records it, and Holy Mother Church, Christ’s Bride, nourish them through prayers and Sacraments and the communion of graces in this world, to prepare them to pass from this life to the world to come, in Heaven.

The Biblical Teaching on the Apostasy

But as regards the Apostasy foretold, that is spoken of in verses 3 and the following. Let’s take a brief tour through the text, to notice things, of which nearly no one speaks, and which shed light on what the Apostasy consists in, and how to stop it.

In verse three, Saint John speaks of another sign. And since he wrote in the Greek, let’s at least take one moment in our lives to read his actual words:

Above it, at the top, is the index for each greek word, in Blue numbers, and then below that the transliteration of the Greek word into Latin Letters, in blue. Below the Greek Word (in black) is Charles Van der Pool’s English translation of the Greek word, in context, in RED, and below that is the Syntax of the Greek word, indicating whether it is a Conjugation, Adjective, Noun, Verb, Preposition, etc. in Blue, with the identification of the case, number, tense or person of the word.

Here is the Douay-Rheims translation in English, of the same text, from Saint Jerome’s Latin translation of it, as found in the Clementine Vulgate:

And there was seen another sign in heaven: and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns: and on his heads ..

Here, one must first note that this second sign, follows the Great Sign of the Woman with Child. Thus, it is placed in the context of subordination to Them both. This means, that the Apostasy foretold is not about the victory of the Dragon over the Church, but the victory of the Church over the Dragon, and that this victory will consist in the Faithful remaining true and faithful to Jesus Christ, the Child, and His Mother, the Immaculate Virgin, as well as remaining in juridical communion with Holy Mother Church, for that is what being held in the arms of the Church means.

Second, the word “sign”, is Saint John’s way of speaking of a miraculous event which is also simultaneously a message pointing to a truth, so by using this word he is inviting his readers to strive to understand the meaning of what he is describing in images, not the images themselves as images.

Third, he writes, “in heaven”, using the Greek singular. Most translations get this wrong, and write, “in the heavens or in the sky.  In the Greek of the Our Father, Christ says, “Our Father who art in the Heavens”, using the plural. In English, the translation uses the singular. And the reason for this needs to be explained for modern readers.

In Greek, “heavens” refers to the highest place of being, where the Divine is found. and “heaven” to the material firmament.  But in English, it is the other way around, since the word, Heavens, refers to the material places in the universe above the surface of the Earth, and the word, Heaven, refers to the place where God is with His Angels and Saints.

So, Saint John by using this word in the singular is indicating that this second sign will be visible to the men and woman of that future age, with their own eyes. But it is not going to be a sign “in the sky”, that is an astronomical event, because, as was said, this is “another sign”, like the first one. So just as Our Lady did not give birth to the Lord Jesus in the Sky, so the Dragon is not in the sky. To read it in any other way is simply stupid and ignores the words the Apostle uses to introduce the image.

Here, most translations, next also get it wrong, when they render the passage:  Behold, a great red dragon.  Because the Greek word, here, translated as “red”, means “fiery red”, that is the red of the fire, which flickers from yellow to red as the flames dance.  This word, then, “red”, in the Greek clearly indicates that the Dragon represents the One who was damned to Hell from the beginning, cast down from Heaven, like a flaming comet, and burning in his damnation. Those who want that “red” means “Marxism” or “Communism” are trying to make the text say a lot less than it says, though it cannot be disputed that these ideologies are hellish and damnable, being cooked up by Sabbateans and Apostate Jews.

The Dragon, which all the Fathers identify as Satan, the Deceiver and Father of Lies, is then said to have 7 heads and 10 diadems, by Saint John the Apostle.  Once again, though this is what he really did see, this is not intended to be understood as an anatomical description, but symbolically, as 7 principle spirits or motives, and 10 principle rulers or leaders or powers.

But the Apostasy is indicated in verse 4, according to the Fathers of the Church:

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth:

Here, again, this is what the Apostle saw, either with his own eyes or in a mystical vision, mediated by Angels, as normally occurs in such graces of illumination. But what is seen is not to be understood physically but theologically.  For those who know how alligators and crocodiles hunt, it is worth noting how they do it: for the do not run at their prey like a lion and chase after it. No, they lie in wait in a pool or river, where the prey is want to think itself safe and be distracted, and then getting closer and closer after a long time, jumps up and with its tail hit the prey from behind and drives it into its mouth.

This is why one can say with confidence that most translations misunderstand the text by rending it with the verbs, “drew”, “drags”, “hauls”, since that is not how a large serpent hunts. He, rather, sweeps and smacks and pushes, an action from behind the object being moved.

Thus, the Fathers of the Church say that the Apostle is teaching that the Apostasy will occur through a trick, a surprise, a deceit, and by something moving those to apostasy from a side unseen.

The Stars, in the sign, here, represent most of all the Clergy of the Catholic Church, and those whose vocation is to shine like the sun in the Kingdom of God the Father, that is, those called to holiness, by whose teaching, those of us who walk in more earthly vocations and occupations, are encouraged to look heaven-ward. And Saint John the Apostle says “a third part”, because as anyone who watches the heavens regularly knows, on any night with a clear sky, one can see while standing on the Earth, with the human eye, no more than a third of the stars visible from Earth, at any one time. This “third part”, then, is often misunderstood by many, who claim that the Apostasy regards a third of the faithful in the age in which it will take place. But that is incorrect, as the correct context shows, as an astronomical metaphor, that it means ALL or nearly ALL the brightest lights of that age, that is all the leading clergy and religious of the Church in that Age.*

What does all this mean for us today, in August of 2026 A. D.?

As reported last week, Sister Lucia Santos, who was one of the three children, at Fatima, who saw the historic manifestation of Apocalypse 12:1, when the Woman Clothed with the Sun appeared to them in the Sun, during the Miracle of October 13, 1917, was given a Secret to be revealed to the world, 43 years later, which would foretell the Apostasy to come, in the Church. But this secret was kept hidden, contrary to the will of God, by corrupt and failing clergy — some of the stars of heaven.

Decades later, the most important part was also kept hidden. And it was Pope Benedict XVI himself, who repented of this, and declared years later, as pope, that this secret regarded future events.

Now this deceit which has surprised the entire Catholic Hierarchy, is something of which FromRome has spoken of for 12 years, as the leading Electronic Journal covering all the news and speculation about this: as it began when those around Pope Benedict XVI lied to all the Cardinals about what his Declaratio of February 11, 2013 signified: for they said it was an abdication, when it in fact was only a resignation, a decision to go into retirement, while remaining the one true Pope. By this lie, which caught the College of Cardinals off guard — because they were excessively eager to get rid of Pope Benedict XVI for a variety of corrupt reasons and motivations — they convened in a conclave and elected an antipope — a man truly of darkness, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who was so wacked, that in the final years of his life he has to be given strong psychotropic medicines to keep him from going into frequent violent abusive rages, filled with verbal profanities and blasphemies.

 Now, as we have seen from the clear teaching of Pope Nicholas II, every antipope is an Antichrist, because he leads the Faithful away from Christ’s true Vicar, and thus away from Christ.  And while not all antipopes from the past were heretical, Bergoglio, Pope Francis, was manifestly so to such a degree that all the Faithful could see it with their own eyes.

The resulting chaos in the Church since 2013 can rightfully and correctly be seen as fulfilling all the conditions of Revelations 12:4, as it has occurred after the Great Sign of Revelations 12:3, signified at Fatima in 1917, and regards the disorientation and fall of nearly all the Bishops and Clergy of the Church, the stars of the Church’s heavens, by means of a diabolic trick and fraud.

How to put an end to the Apostasy?

This being the case, the solution is clear: to not follow these falling stars into apostasy, heresy and immorality, to which all they are daily striving more and more deeply, we, Christ’s Faithful, must reject the antipopes, Francis and Leo, and turn to Christ’s true Vicar, legitimately elected, a gift which He has given the Church, in the wilderness of Sovana on the Feast of Christ the King last year.  On the Feast of Christ the King, to indicate that under Hildebrand we can remain in the Kingdom of Christ, the heavens, and not be dragged down to the earth of sin, which is the schism the Cardinals perpetrated by two invalid Conclaves, each based on the same one lie, that Benedict XVI abdicated.

The collusion of so many Catholic journalists and influencers, then, can be seen for what it truly is: the diabolic effect and sin of these men and woman, who strive to follow falling stars, rather than remain in the truth and justice and right faith of those very much lesser bright clergy and religious, who told us that the Conclaves were invalid, and that Bergoglio and Prevost are heretics, antipopes and uncanonically elected.

Moreover, as can be seen from the Agenda for his Pontificate, only Hildebrand is proposing the true and effective solutions to all the crises in the Church.  And only Hildebrand, with his authority as Roman Pontiff, can and is willing to put them officially into effect. This is why Conservatives, Traditionalists, and Sedevacantists, who love disobedience and grifting, and who do not want to follow all of Christ’s teaching and laws are rejecting Hildebrand, as they do not want Faith, oversight, or transparency, and refuse to come into the Light since they know their deeds are shameful.

We are not grateful enough and we are not taking this Battle as serious at it is

The way to stop the Apostasy then is to stand with and declare for Hildebrand. Those of us who know of his election and have read his Apostolic Letters (cf. SedesApostolica.Info) are among the very, very, very, very, very few Catholic in the world who know of him and of this great grace the Child Jesus has given us. Like the Virgin and Child, Hildebrand has now taken refuge in the wilderness of anonymity, as the Dragon goes seeking him to devour him. Like the virgin earth, now it is our duty to destroy the lies of the Dragon and his followers, spewed upon the earth (Rev. 12:15) to wash Hildebrand into doom, by opening our mouths (Rev. 12:16), and speaking the truth!

If we realize how Apocalyptic our times really are and the tremendous grace we have been given, personally, which all other nations and groups have not been given, then it should dawn on us, that is, we should recognize, that if God has given us such a rare light and in such a rare degree of brightness to see these truths, we have a tremendously and proportional duty to join in in this battle and help the true Holy Father, Hildebrand.

For when the Church comes to know that he is the true Pope, the Faithful world wide will be freed from the diabolic trickery and lie and stop following the falling stars into doom. Then the Apostasy will come to and end, for the Elect, and Holy Mother Church will have the victory, and the faithful who have resisted, merit their crown in the Kingdom of the God the Father.

* The Fathers of the Church also read this same passage in regard to the Fall of the angels at the beginning of time,  accommodating the passage to explain that. But that is obviously not the context. So while we can say that the “third part” is part of an astronomical metaphor, it is more properly said in regard to the number of leaders who will apostatize and not to the number of angels at the beginning of time who fell. How many actually fell has not be revealed directly in Scripture.
