Vatican News is publishing unconscionable propaganda about Pope Francis’ Health

Critique by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Just six hours ago, Vatican News reported that Pope Francis underwent therapies in the morning, that need time to show any result. But now in the late afternoon, the press release claims, presto-magico, that there has been “a slight improvement in his critical issues”.

It does not say what this phrase means, whether it refers to his platelet count, red blood cell count, EPO levels, oxygenation levels of his blood, or reduced levels of infection markers in his bodily fluids etc..

Now, he could start improving rapidly, if he were given a new therapy. But nothing is said about changing the therapies he is undergoing. So that must be discounted.

This phrase, then, appears to be propaganda, because if after 10 days there is no positive improvement, then certainly in 6 hours there is no going to be any either. It is being said, solely for narrative control.

But worse of all, the Press Release then goes on to say, that “The monitoring of the slight renal failure is of no concern”.

Who wrote this unconscionable statement? If it was the doctors, they are acting with reckless and unethical regard for a patient in a weakened critical condition.

But it sounds to me more like it was written by someone like Cardinal Parolin, and this solely for the purpose of fighting against the growing awareness of the Faithful world-wide, that Pope Francis is dying.

And if so, then this would be the worst kind of propaganda. Indeed, its only effect is to increase the doubt that anything true is actually being said at all.

In fact, persons like Archbishop Viganò stated yesterday, that without pictures of Pope Francis in hospital, and with the restrictions placed on visiting him, “How do we know that he is even still alive?”

While I do not ascribe to such extreme disbelief, this most recent Press Release certainly seems to be beyond odd. It is also odd, that it has been released earlier in the evening than on other days.

If you have paid attention to news out of the Vatican regarding the death and burial of Pope Benedict XVI and Cardinal Pell, then you have additional reasons to believe that some sort of cover-up is possible, since both their mortal remains were disrespected in the grossest manner. Hence, the prudent observer is put on guard, that the antics regarding Pope Francis’ health condition in hospital is caused by something other than his medical condition.

Pretty soon, then, many important persons are going to want to see photographs of Pope Francis, and visits by impartial observers, as proof of life. Alas, by inviting Meloni to visit him, she is now caught up in this charade, and will suffer for it, if afterwards the truth of what has been going on shows that most of what is being said was a total lie.

BREAKING: Pope Francis’ Kidneys begin to fail, receives red blood cell concentrate

BREAKING NEWS SUMMARY of Italian Original above
by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Pope Francis’ kidneys have begun to fail. He has received a transfusion of concentrated red blood cells as his anemic condition persists. He has not had another breathing crisis as on Saturday morning. He continues to breathe through nasal tubes to augment oxygen intake.

He attended Mass in his room with his medical team.

He remains in critical condition. No prognosis can be given due to the high risk of unforeseen complications.

You can read a full Google translation of the Italian Edition of the Vatican News press release from this evening, HERE.

The Vatican still won’t admit the truth: Pope Francis is dying.

According to the KidneyFund.org, kidney failure leads to an inability of the body to produce sufficient red blood cells. This may explain Pope Francis’ anemia. Kidney failure also struck Pope Benedict XVI ad Archbishop Gaenswein, ostensibly due to the poor health quality of the tap water at the Vatican. FromRome.Info surmised correctly nearly a week ago, that Pope Francis’ real undisclosed problem was this.

According to the U.S. National Institute of Health (here), the failure of the kidneys to produce EPO leads directly to anemia in patients with low oxygen intake, as seems to be the case with Pope Francis who has chronic breathing problems:

Erythropoietin (EPO) is a glycoprotein hormone produced by the peritubular cells of the renal cortex. This hormone stimulates red blood cell production in response to low partial pressure of oxygen (pO2).

From this it appears that Pope Francis is suffering from widespread organ problems: kidneys, lungs with pneumonia and polymicrobic infection, low blood platelets due to clotting issues, risk of sepsis from infection and tissue bloating etc..  It will be nigh impossible to solve all these at once. At last we have a clearer picture of Pope Francis’ complex health issues.

AP Confirms that Papal Renunciation is possible if Pope becomes “incapacitated”

Editor’s Note: Finally the MSM which has regurgitated the lies from the Vatican for nearly 9 days, has begun to break from that and speak the truth, which FromRome.Info reported last Wednesday, that Pope Francis might be about to abdicate. This is what he will have to do, to do that. — As always, stay with FromRome.Info to know today’s news yesterday.

However, what the AP reporter does not say, because they have not the foggiest idea about it, is that a papal renunciation cannot be made in advance, under a condition, nor by a legal representative.  Such a resignation would be invalid in Canon Law and jurisprudence, since it requires the presumption that a text written in advance (and the one referred to here was written in 2013) expresses the present will of the man who is the pope. A thing which cannot be verified if a pope is in a coma, for example, or cannot communicate.

Reading between the lines of Vatican News press releases

This morning, Vatican News, in its Italian Edition, said that Pope Francis was receiving oxygen through nasal tubes, and had undergone examinations including taking blood for tests. the results of which will be available this evening. FromRome.Info will report these findings as soon as they are made public.

However, the same Vatican News press release did NOT say he got out of bed and ate breakfast, which means that his doctors have confined him to bed. Also, it was not said that his condition is stable, as has been done for nearly a week.

Some men die suddenly by strokes or heart attacks or organ failures. Others progressively lose the vitality of corporeal life, and take continual steps down into dependency upon doctors and medicines and medical procedures, until their life is so frail that it hangs on a thread. To these the Lord shows great mercy by giving them plenty of time to die repentant. And it seems that the Lord Jesus has chosen this path for Pope Francis.

Pope Francis: What we know from what his allies are and are not saying

An Editorial by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Those, who should be in the know, act differently when the consequences of what they know effect them personally. That is why, as far as Conservatives in the Church go, how the closest collaborators and allies of Pope Francis have acted since his entrance into the hospital on Feb. 14, 2025, gives a lot of reasons to have bright hopes for the future.

There is a saying at Rome, that “Don’t believe anything is true until it is denied”. This reflects the labyrinthine politics of the Italian culture, where the truth is rarely told. And in the present case, I find that it is a maxim fully verified.

The Pope’s O.K. Don’t Worry

At first, all the Pope’s allies insisted immediately upon his going to the hospital that there was nothing to worry about.

Yet, as we have seen there was a lot to worry about. The pope was diagnosed with pneumonia and high risk of sepsis, and just yesterday with thrombocytopenia, a low blood-platelet count.

The Pope is stable, Let’s pray for him

Then, after few days passed and no substantive news was being released — we would later learn that the Pope’s doctors said that they were acting in this way under direct orders of Pope Francis — his friends and allies, even in the press, began a single song, of “the Pope is stable”. “Stable” implied not getting worse and being in a good condition.

Yet, we see now that the Pope was anything but, his condition was critical, which means his vital signs were out of the normal bounds and that his condition has deteriorated.

Talk about a Renunciation is useless and shameful

Then, as the week moved on, and the common man began connecting the dots, it was reported that Pope Francis himself had feared he would not make it this time around at the hospital. So naturally, since it was insisted he was stable, even high Churchmen began to speak of a possible resignation. This brought quick and forceful back-lashes from Cardinals Parolin and Fernandez.

Yet, there was a half truth in this, as we have seen that the Pope’s health is not going to take a long time to recover, because he is rapidly deteriorating.

The Pope’s not out of danger, but his prognosis is for recovery

Then, Pope Francis’ allies who were not medical doctors began singing together that he was on the road to recovery. They even engineered a conference where his team gave this impression on Friday, afternoon.

Yet, we learned late Saturday, that upon rising in the morning the Pope had a serious and prolonged breathing problem, requiring high doses of oxygen and several blood transfusions.

Conclusion, with an observation

All the high clergy, whose careers were promoted by Pope Francis, are terribly worried anyone might think that he is going to die or resign. And we have seen that this worry is not a psychosis, because it is based on his real medical condition.

But this worry is very revealing. It means that they have NO CONFIDENCE at all, and perhaps even the certainty, that with Pope Francis’ exist stage left, their careers in the Church will come to an end: they see no light at the end of this tunnel.

And that means they already know that in the next Conclave the critics of Pope Francis will elect one of their own by large majority and that this pope is likely to be the Pope Restorer that we have all waited for and prayed for, for more than a generation.

Pope Francis suffocates, gets blood transfusion on Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter

Reaction and Analysis by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

After an evening update yesterday assuring the world that Pope Francis is doing well, the world is told Saturday evening, that he had suffered a major medical crisis Saturday morning. He began to have breathing spasms and had to be given high-concentrations of oxygen. Then he received several blood transfusions to make up for a low level of blood platelets, which are necessary to stop internal bleeding.

As we all know by now, Pope Francis has suffered some enormous bruises in recent months due to falls. But we were not told the medical cause, which now appears to be chronic anemia, reducing capacity of his blood to retain oxygen and clot, resulting in dizziness and frequent bruising and internal bleeding. — That the doctors yesterday did not reveal this is highly unethical. It looks like the Pope is NOT recovering but is in a major life-or-death decline.

The press release speaks of thrombocytopenia, a low blood platelet count, but not of a low red-blood cell count, which is strange, since these latter are the ones to carry oxygen. This means that Pope Francis might already have been experiencing internal bleeding for some time.

However, seeing that the blood supply in Italy is tainted with the blood of DeathVaxxed individuals, it is now more likely that Pope Francis will suffer numerous complications as a result of these blood transfusions. Indeed, low blood platelet counts are one of the common symptoms of the so-called Covid-19 vaccines, since they contained nano-technology specifically designed to destroy blood components.

Indeed, I know personally in my own family how dangerous getting a blood transfusion is, since my beloved Aunt Marie, in good health, was diagnosed as anemic, got a transfusion, and in 45 minutes was dead. It was a shock to everyone in the family. Her immediate family had entrusted her life to the doctors, being told it was a normal intervention with little danger. It was not. It is not such any longer after the DeathVaxx campaign.

It is highly likely, therefore, that Pope Francis die at any moment and if not that his condition will get worse and worse. Talk that he is going to return to the Vatican someday and resume his duties as Pope must now be reckoned in the category of wishful thinking.

The Pope’s health condition must be much worse than reported, because on Friday all the parishes in Italy were asked to pray for his health, a thing only done in the case of the Pope being near death.

UPDATE: The Pope’s condition is now classified as CRITICAL, though it is said “it continues to be critical”, something hidden from the press for now 9 days. It is more and more clear that he did not go to Hospital to be cured, but to die.

Vatican News: Pope’s Doctors say he’s responding, but not out of Danger

Click image above for the official English version of the Press Release

Summary by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Note, that the Italian Original has much more information. Here is an English translation of the Italian. For those who want the 1 minute summary, in my own words:

The Pope’s Doctors insist he is being given the correct treatment, even though they admit his situation is precarious and easily made worse by multiple factors. They have risked giving him Cortisone even though they know it reduces immune response. The Pope is being given a variety of medicines, including antibiotics, but is suffering from a complex infection of the lungs, which can be contained but not cured. He will remain in hospital as long as is needed, so that he can return safely to the Vatican, and as far as they can determine, he requires at least one more week in hospital. All press releases were made with the consent of the Medical Staff and Pope Francis’ decision to keep information sparse but essential. There is a risk of sepsis, which if it were to occur would be difficult if not impossible to stop. So far Pope Francis is not experiencing any bacterial infection of his blood, but they remain concerned.

Commentary

Everything about his medical condition has been confirmed, including the danger of sepsis and the use of cortisone, as I reported yesterday morning. The pope is not going to get well quickly, because of the real danger that he can get worse and because of his persistent life-long lung issues. It does not seem we will get more information but tid-bits going forward, but now that the names of the Doctors caring for Pope Francis have been given, I think the Medical Team is at last confident that he will live. It seems doubtful that he will ever be able to resume his busy schedule as before, since at the Vatican much of those activities are conducted in poorly heated rooms or outside and in the presence of persons who could easily transmit other infections to those with weak immune systems.

His Renunciation is now, nearly certain

The result is, that I believe there will be increased counsel from friends and Cardinals that Pope Francis recognize that he will need to abdicate and care for his health, while limiting himself to the ministry of a Bishop Emeritus of Rome, without a demanding schedule.

We Catholics who have the Faith can see in this the work of the Divine Providence, Which while blessing those who participated in the Sutri Initiative, has responded to the unwillingness of the Bishops to act out of fraternal charity, by checkmating Pope Francis on the biological level. The Pope is now caught between his desire to be active and the center of attention, with the real risk of death and return to a relapse if he does.

At the same time, because of his real health situation being known, there will be increasing pressure from all sides that he renounce.  First from those who really care for him. Second, from the Cardinals who know that the Vatican will spin out of control without the presence of a Pope. Third, from the Secretary of State who will emphasize that the duties of state require that a Pope be available for all eventualities and keep his commitments to pastoral visits and receiving Heads of State. Fourth, from the Mayor of Rome, who will understand immediately that without a Pope present for the Jubilee year the 10s of millions spent for its preparation will go to waste and businessmen will be ruined as pilgrims cancel their trips, having lost hope of seeing the Pope in person. And fifth from all those clergy and laity who realize that Pope Francis has burnt through his moral credibility as a leader and that a change is needed. — None of these persons hate Pope Francis, but all of them are prudent people on the supernatural or natural levels.

Against this is the stubbornness of an old man. When he will concede or if he will die trying not to concede they are right, God alone knows. But as an anthropologist, I think he will be led to renounce this spring, if his health is still precarious by Easter. Maybe as soon as the Feast of Saint Joseph, whose name he wanted added to the Canon and who is Patron Protector of the Church, since such important acts are usually done on important feast days. That way Pope Francis can make a big fan fare of the event, and receive one last standing ovation from a large multitude willing to see him as Pope one last time.

Giovagnoli: Why Pope Francis’ resignation looks more likely even if he recovers

Editor’s Note: Read the above article in English, here. Agostino Giovagnoli is a noted historian of the relations of the Italian Republic and the Apostolic See at the University of the Sacred Heart, which runs Gemelli Hospital, where Pope Francis is being cared for. In this article, he explains at length, that Pope Francis’ health is undeniably delicate and any return to his duties will likely result in a relapse. For this reason many high clerics are now talking about his resignation as more and more likely, even if not for now probably in the immediate few weeks or days.

Cardinal Ravasi: The Pope could resign if his health worsens

Editor’s Note: Though no longer a member of the Roman Curia, the mere fact that such a high profile Vatican statesman is thinking that a visit by Giorgia Meloni, yesterday, the current Italian Premier visited Pope Francis, means a lot more than both of them are telling, is significant. — As an ex-Minister of Culture at the Vatican Cardinal Ravasi knows well, that it is NOT a duty of the PM to visit a sick pope in hospital, unless he is about to announce something which will greatly impact Italian National Security, such as a resignation. — Cardinal Ravasi was made a cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI in 2010 and participated in the faux conclave of 2013. He is 83 years of age and can no longer vote in Conclaves, so he is more free to speak than other Cardinals.

In the latest Vatican News release, here, no mention is still being made of either the Pope’s medical team’s components — a thing which would give a more complete picture of what kind of ailments are part of his complex medical condition — nor of any prognosis of how long of a stay in hospital is required to bring his health condition back to normal, if this is even possible.

Pope Francis’ Personal Argentine Doctor says his situation is very serious

Editor’s Note: This report in Spanish, also available in video, is an important one, since it cites the testimony, given this week, by Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s (Pope Francis’) personal private doctor/surgeon in Argentina, Dr. Juan Carlos Parodi.

His doctor says that his situation as reported is very grave and dangerous, considering that Pope Francis lacks a proper immune response. He has operated on him for gangrene in the Gall Bladder and says that Pope Francis is known to eat to his heart’s content, even if it is bad for his health. He also says that the Pope, as a man, is a workaholic and neglects his health. — The doctor adds that he believes that Pope Francis is already suffering from sepsis, the infection of the blood, which is very dangerous.

In fact, sepsis if not treated leads to rapid death.

I know of this personally from my own family history, because my paternal grandmother, Mafalda Trovero, when expecting her third child, and first daughter, to save money ate canned food rather than fresh food. In those days canned food was very high in salt and to eat it while expecting a child was highly dangerous. The bloating it caused led to the death of her child in her womb and that led to sepsis. She was brought to the hospital and after a few days died all alone. To this day I do not know if she received the last rites. (Please pray for her)

However, the same doctor said that in the past, he has doubted that Bergoglio would recover and believed it likely that he would die from his previous health issues, but in the end he recovered and lived.

The fact that Gemelli Hospital still has not named the members of the medical team assigned to Pope Francis remains troubling, because if he is at risk of death, this silence might mean that none of them want their careers to be stained by a Pope dying in their care. It also seems to mean that none has the confidence that he will recover. But from a security point of view, if a head of state’s medical team won’t agree to be named, it is easy for malfeasance to take place through neglect. And this might be more dangerous that the actual disease or sickness.

Pope Francis is occasionally using oxygen, visitors prohibited

Summary and Commentary by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

While many reports are either attacking speculation about Pope Francis’ health, or exaggerating tid-bits of news that various journalists have reported, this report by RAI News, one of the official state channels of the Italian Republic remains substantial, informative and complete. The two new pieces of information are that Pope Francis is breathing on his own without assistance, but does occasionally take some oxygen; and that visitors are prohibited from his room, where he has been confined during his stay, except when he has undergone tests such as a CAT scan of his chest. RAI News also notes that the members of Pope Francis’ medical team have not been named and that security on his floor is light.

In addition, it reports that Cardinal Parolin, the Vatican Secretary of State, on his return from his visit to Burkina Faso, which was scheduled 5 months ago, came to visit Pope Francis yesterday afternoon. This is not unusual, as it is his duty to visit the Pontiff upon returning from any assignments. But it can serve and is serving as material for further speculation.

If Pope Francis has decided to renounce, then it makes sense that he inform his Secretary of State, in person, immediately upon his return from Africa. And seeing that Parolin has been there since Pope Francis went into hospital, if Pope Francis has made any important decisions, Cardinal Parolin would need to be informed as soon as possible. But as the Left Wing Media in Italy are still insisting and shouting that we stop drawing conclusions from such tid-bits of news, we can be sure that something is going on.

Many reports are pushing the narrative that Pope Francis is a workaholic and that without rest he will only get worse, but that it is intolerable for him not to be at his job, in the spot light. And the Vatican spokesman still has given no indications of when or if Pope Francis will return to the Vatican. So he certainly is not showing signs of substantial improvement.

The internet is being flooded, however, by fake news produced by AI like channels which are seeking as much of the attention of Catholics the world over, regarding the Pope. And left wing News Outlets in Italy are offering combative articles with paywalls.

The report from RAI News, however, is noteworthy for not saying what the Italian Prime Minister (official title, President of the Council of Ministers) Giorgia Meloni was doing visiting a patient who should not get visitors and why they talked for 20 minutes in private without witnesses or any report as to the content of their meeting other than to say that they joked. — To my knowledge, there is nothing in Italian law which requires the PM to visit a sick pope. And I do not recall – but you can correct me – that any PM ever visited any Pope in hospital. Certainly, Giorgia Meloni’s visit is being framed like a daughter visiting a father, but since that is not what is going on, speculation is apt to abound about the real reason.

Pope Francis has a blood test, according to Vatican Bulletin

Editor’s Note: Every 12 hours the narrative about Pope Francis’ health changes. Now we are told that he was given a blood test and that it shows a slight improvement in combating “inflammatory” agents. So it does appear that he is suffering from a blood infection. And coupled with his gross amounts of water retention, the immediate suspect of cause is renal failure, that is a failure of the kidneys.  — I speculated that this was the case days ago, since with both Pope Benedict XVI and Archbishop Ganswein having come down with this, I surmise that the water supply at the Vatican is detrimental to kidney health.

Italian PM Visits Pope Francis, despite polymicrobial pneumonia

Editor’s Note: Something does not make sense. If Pope Francis has a bad case of poly-microbial infection in his lungs, to the point of having pneumonia, why on earth would the head of the Italian government risk infection or infecting him further by a personal visit? Why is he not in an isolation unit? Why has his medical team not been identified?

However, if he is planning to renounce the papal office, it would be de rigeur that he inform the head of the Italian government, a few days beforehand, since in the Italian constitution, the Roman Pontiff, while being the head of a foreign state, is accorded the dignity and respect of a head of government.

In fact, other reports are saying that Giorgia Meloni, the PM, met with Pope Francis in private for 20 minutes. Presumably without medical staff. This also inclines one to think that he is about to announce something important and asked her to keep it secret until he does. She has been the only visitor to see Pope Francis since his hospitalization, outside of his medical staff and private personal staff.

The renunciation of a Roman Pontiff during a Jubilee Year is apt to cause massive crowds of pilgrims and curious tourists to descend upon the Italian capital in a moment’s notice. And this, indeed, is something that out of mutual respect the head of the Vatican City State would want to personally convey to the head of the Italian Government in the most discrete manner possible.

The first sign that this may be the case will undoubtedly be a greater presence of police and Italian armed forces, on the streets of the Capital. FromRome.Info will keep you informed.

Pope Francis’ Health is very borderline, next 48 hours are important

Editor’s Note: Among the many rosy pictures by the fake Main Stream Media, one finds still a sober objective article by a journalist who interviews those who really know the facts on the ground. This is one, and it’s gist is this: that the health of Pope Francis is still very much at risk, he cannot even suffer a cold draft, or be put under stress or commotion. The next 48 hours are very important for him, to see if he shows any improvement under the present therapy. — This looks more and more like the preparation for a Renunciation of the Papacy on the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter, this Saturday, February 22, a moment for an event of great publicity and media fan-fare of the kind Pope Francis would certainly enjoy and relish.

Fake Media decries speculation about Pope’s Death / Resignation

Editor’s Note: In an article, which can only be read if you pay to subscribe, il Messaggero, the newspaper which has run cover for Pope Francis since 2016, when it began to squelch dissent and questions about his legitimacy, has published a shameful piece in which they decry “fake” news such as posts saying that Pope Francis is already dead, that his funeral is in preparation, or that he is about to resign!

We can all agree that the first two are fake news, but the third is evidently directed only against those news publication, which are sensible and look at the real facts of the day, and think about them.

But il Messaggero pleads with its readers not to pay attention to any of this, because, as they say, it is making the work of professional journalists more difficult to publish the true news!

Needless to say, that you can see the very crocodile tears ooze from your computer screen reading this article, it is so full of virtue signally and gall! — The MSM which has published so much fake news for decades is at last loosing control of the narrative, and it hurts!

The sophistry of the article is also on display when they argue that Pope Francis is not going to take the resignation he already signed in 2013 out of the drawer of his desk for good reasons, which they do not cite. Of course not! A conditional resignation, restricting its validity to so many years hence or under the terms of a comatose state could not be used today. — And indeed its not hard to write a letter in the presence of witnesses with a one line resignation: “I renounce the petrine munus”. BUT it will be difficult for the MSM to report those words, because they know it might mean the draining of the ecclesial swamp, if the new Pope begins the Great Catholic Reset, of which I have written and spoken frequently.

Vatican Press: Pope Francis has bilateral polymicrobic Pneumonia

Editor’s Note: Every 12 hours the reports on Pope Francis’ health change. This time it is asserted that he has pneumonia in both lungs. But we are not told if this is all that he has. — Severe pneumonia can cause intense abdominal pain if one or both of the lower lobes of the lungs are infected. — However, the precision of the claim, this time, seems to be aimed chiefly at dispersing the intense interest in Pope Francis’ health after POLITICO revealed that the Pope himself thinks he may die. — Whether Pope Francis is very sick or merely suffering from a little paranoia, is hard to say at this point. But one cannot shake the feeling that the press releases since late last week are a psychological game with the public, and that this latest report is actually being given simply to quell fears of a worse condition: a worse condition or conditions which are actually killing him.

For more about what pneumonia is, see this detailed article by Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Though it does not appear that pneumonia is anything more than a diagnosis, some news sources are reporting this as a development caused by an ineffective treatment of his complex medical situation in the first 4 days of hospitalization.

What remains strange, is that the Gemelli Hospital is not naming the medical team treating the Pope. But we are given the names of his 3 secretaries who visit him daily: Father Daniel Pellizon (Argentina), Juan Cruz Villalón (Argentina), and Fabio Salerno (Italy). This seems to indicate that he is suffering from an inability to speak in Italian, that is, under some sort of restriction on mental awareness. It also seems to indicate that he has not been put in an isolation unit, which is something you would expect with a “polymicrobial” infection, seeing that close daily contact with outsiders can introduce new pathogens into the air. And this, in turn, puts in doubt that the lung issue is his real medical condition. It also says a lot about the lack of discretion of his medical staff.

As for the Vatican’s press relations, it is clear that not a few line editors have lost confidence that the Vatican is being transparent:

While others have dispensed all together with the apparent charade:
