At Rome, Rumors that Pope’s Death is imminent

Report by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Here at FromRome.Info, my general editorial policy is only to comment on news from other journalistic publications. This is to avoid unsubstantiated rumors. However, since it has become clear that Vatican News press releases about Pope Francis’ death are less than transparent, it is no surprise that the vacuum for information will be filled with others’ claims to have inside sources. Here are two of them, each image is linked to the original, for your verification.

BREAKING: Pope Francis’ Kidneys begin to fail, receives red blood cell concentrate

BREAKING NEWS SUMMARY of Italian Original above
by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Pope Francis’ kidneys have begun to fail. He has received a transfusion of concentrated red blood cells as his anemic condition persists. He has not had another breathing crisis as on Saturday morning. He continues to breathe through nasal tubes to augment oxygen intake.

He attended Mass in his room with his medical team.

He remains in critical condition. No prognosis can be given due to the high risk of unforeseen complications.

You can read a full Google translation of the Italian Edition of the Vatican News press release from this evening, HERE.

The Vatican still won’t admit the truth: Pope Francis is dying.

According to the KidneyFund.org, kidney failure leads to an inability of the body to produce sufficient red blood cells. This may explain Pope Francis’ anemia. Kidney failure also struck Pope Benedict XVI ad Archbishop Gaenswein, ostensibly due to the poor health quality of the tap water at the Vatican. FromRome.Info surmised correctly nearly a week ago, that Pope Francis’ real undisclosed problem was this.

According to the U.S. National Institute of Health (here), the failure of the kidneys to produce EPO leads directly to anemia in patients with low oxygen intake, as seems to be the case with Pope Francis who has chronic breathing problems:

Erythropoietin (EPO) is a glycoprotein hormone produced by the peritubular cells of the renal cortex. This hormone stimulates red blood cell production in response to low partial pressure of oxygen (pO2).

From this it appears that Pope Francis is suffering from widespread organ problems: kidneys, lungs with pneumonia and polymicrobic infection, low blood platelets due to clotting issues, risk of sepsis from infection and tissue bloating etc..  It will be nigh impossible to solve all these at once. At last we have a clearer picture of Pope Francis’ complex health issues.

Pope Francis: What we know from what his allies are and are not saying

An Editorial by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

Those, who should be in the know, act differently when the consequences of what they know effect them personally. That is why, as far as Conservatives in the Church go, how the closest collaborators and allies of Pope Francis have acted since his entrance into the hospital on Feb. 14, 2025, gives a lot of reasons to have bright hopes for the future.

There is a saying at Rome, that “Don’t believe anything is true until it is denied”. This reflects the labyrinthine politics of the Italian culture, where the truth is rarely told. And in the present case, I find that it is a maxim fully verified.

The Pope’s O.K. Don’t Worry

At first, all the Pope’s allies insisted immediately upon his going to the hospital that there was nothing to worry about.

Yet, as we have seen there was a lot to worry about. The pope was diagnosed with pneumonia and high risk of sepsis, and just yesterday with thrombocytopenia, a low blood-platelet count.

The Pope is stable, Let’s pray for him

Then, after few days passed and no substantive news was being released — we would later learn that the Pope’s doctors said that they were acting in this way under direct orders of Pope Francis — his friends and allies, even in the press, began a single song, of “the Pope is stable”. “Stable” implied not getting worse and being in a good condition.

Yet, we see now that the Pope was anything but, his condition was critical, which means his vital signs were out of the normal bounds and that his condition has deteriorated.

Talk about a Renunciation is useless and shameful

Then, as the week moved on, and the common man began connecting the dots, it was reported that Pope Francis himself had feared he would not make it this time around at the hospital. So naturally, since it was insisted he was stable, even high Churchmen began to speak of a possible resignation. This brought quick and forceful back-lashes from Cardinals Parolin and Fernandez.

Yet, there was a half truth in this, as we have seen that the Pope’s health is not going to take a long time to recover, because he is rapidly deteriorating.

The Pope’s not out of danger, but his prognosis is for recovery

Then, Pope Francis’ allies who were not medical doctors began singing together that he was on the road to recovery. They even engineered a conference where his team gave this impression on Friday, afternoon.

Yet, we learned late Saturday, that upon rising in the morning the Pope had a serious and prolonged breathing problem, requiring high doses of oxygen and several blood transfusions.

Conclusion, with an observation

All the high clergy, whose careers were promoted by Pope Francis, are terribly worried anyone might think that he is going to die or resign. And we have seen that this worry is not a psychosis, because it is based on his real medical condition.

But this worry is very revealing. It means that they have NO CONFIDENCE at all, and perhaps even the certainty, that with Pope Francis’ exist stage left, their careers in the Church will come to an end: they see no light at the end of this tunnel.

And that means they already know that in the next Conclave the critics of Pope Francis will elect one of their own by large majority and that this pope is likely to be the Pope Restorer that we have all waited for and prayed for, for more than a generation.

Pope Francis knows he is dying? — Here is the evidence

by Br. Alexis Bugnolo

When you see a pattern in evidence, that is consistent and proportional to a certain motivation of the author of that evidence, you can reasonably conclude that it is probably certain that he has acted for those reasons.

Therefore, considering this evidence, I think it is certain that Pope Francis knows, or at least fears, that he is dying and will not recover in Hospital.

  1. He had his 3rd autobiography, which was scheduled to be published after his death, published in January. This biography was intended to influence the next conclave. But since Pope Francis is so universally hated by those who hold the Catholic faith sincerely and deeply, it was highly likely that the biography not be published, so knowing he was going to die, he ordered it published in advance.
  2. He appointed Cardinal Prevost Cardinal Bishop of Albano on Feb. 11, 2025, the anniversary of the day of Pope Benedict XVI’s declaratio. The Cardinal of Albano is considered along with the Cardinal of Ostia, traditionally, one of the prime contenders for being elected the next pope. Pope Benedict XVI was Cardinal of Ostia. Five popes and two antipopes have been Cardinals of Albano. To make this appointment on Feb. 11, 2025, the day before he went to the Gemelli Clinic on the Tiber Island, for tests, indicates that he considered it important to do, in regard to a possible decline in health.
  3. The day before this appointment he wrote a letter to the Bishops of the U.S.A. to oppose the policies of Donald Trump (Feb. 10, 2025) . But if he knew he was to live longer, there would be no rush to do this, as he would have ample opportunities during the next year.
  4. On his first day in Hospital, Feb. 14, 2025, Pope Francis appointed Sister Petrini to head the Vatican City State civil administration, effective March 1, 2025. This seems to indicate that Pope Francis does not have confidence that he will live that long.

Therefore, I consider it highly likely that Pope Francis knows his medical condition is very grave and lethal, and that the trip to the hospital for Bronchitis may just be a theatrical narrative to slowly introduce the narrative of chronic illness and grave risk of death.

If this hypothesis is correct, then “complex medical” problem is the Vatican way of saying, “leading to death”, and “polymicrobic”, the way of saying a complete collapse of the immune system.
