  1. Wouldn’t it be unexpected if Pope Benedict told the Traunstein Regional Court, “Fine, come and get me so that I can defend myself.” This move would liberate him from Bishop Ganswein’s custody, and from “house arrest” at the Vatican.
    I think there’s a good chance there’d be a mistrial. I think he would be safe in German custody. They’d certainly feed him properly, and look after him medically.

    “Benedikt has eight weeks to comment on the allegations.”

    How and how soon he responds will be edifying. Will it be prophetic, too, somehow?
